***The Official HTC One Thread***

Loving the update so far, but now there's one thing that I noticed... when Power Saver is on, it appears in the notification bar...

And glad to finally have Dashclock on it as well, it works with the Widget lockscreen, however the HTC clock is still there so it looks a bit odd...

And thank god the black bar is finally gone :p.

Camera seems to focus much faster, previously it took it's time to focus, but this update seems to bring it to reasonable levels. Need to play with it more though to see any extra camera improvements.

Will have a play around with it more, what I really want to test is the battery life as there's been a few reports of it draining faster (will also allow me to test the charge time as that's suppose to be much faster too).

EDIT: Text vibration speed seems to be "slower". I guess it makes me more likely to notice it.

Updating OTA to 4.2.2 as I type, on Vodafone pay monthly contract CID is something like VODA001

You can turn off the notification in quick settings (scroll from the top of the screen with 2 fingers).

Um... how? When I do that it just brings down the quick setting screen... the power saver notification is still in the notification list when I have power saver mode on.

Thanks for the' heads up'!

I am actually quite surprised that it is available on Vodafone so soon, but I am not complaining mind!

Just checked mine, and I was offered a small update first, followed by the 'main' 4.2.2 one, which is downloading at the moment!

Looking forward to checking it out later.

Well done Vodafone! :)

update is here for me on EE, Unbranded but locked (I think).

only had my One for a week but what a phone! Much better than my old bust up hox.

Nice to see some of the carriers are updating at the same time as the unlocked handsets. I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have a branded handset and not having the update while everyone else seems to be getting it.

I think more frustrating was when JB came out on the HOX branded handsets before sim free ones.....

Sorry, I didn't read your post properly. It used to be there the whole time regardless previously, in 4.2.2 you can turn it off when it's not active. Not sure you can get rid of it when it is active though.
