DPD - Follow My Parcel *5th August*

Wow - this is really quite impressive.

Although, at this precise moment, I am pretty sure my driver, and hence my parcel, has stopped for coffee/bacon roll - come on Toby!

DPD have always been great - this is just icing on a geek-cake!

This doesn't work for my order? All I get is that it will be delivered today? No tracking and no map?

Checked on the desktop site and it says it's still sitting in the depot and hasn't moved since 6am this morning. :(

I dont know my has been stuck in brummy for for three days on a dpd 2 day delivery things not looking good. Wish i had used special delivery i would have had it tuesday doing the nut in.

I got to follow my Xonar STX around the Caerphilly area from 7:30am to almost 5pm today, which was kind of frustrating because it was never more than 10 miles from me as the budgie flies. At least I got to greet the driver by name at the door and ask him what he was doing for two hours in Bargoed? :D

Worse tease ever!

"Michael is currently making delivery number 4, you are delivery number 62.

Michael is approximately 6 hours away from you. "

According to the tracking device he at my local supermarket, 500 meters away.

Damn you cruel world,

*Shakes fists as Michael begins to drive away from my present location*

Damn you to hell!

:D

how long until there is web cams in the back of the vans, and when you go on the tracker you see a live feed with an arrow showing you your box!

Expecting a delivery today, ordered some WD NAS drives and it looks like it will be delivered between 4-5pm today, just been tracking my driver and he actually came down my road, past my house:eek: but did not stop :(.

That does indeed seem a bit strange. It would be interesting to know the reason for this, which you could have course ask him when he does finally deliver your parcel.

Same thing happened to me the other day. He passed my house while delivering number 63 and came back for me (order number 69). Must have something to do with his route order already being in the sat nav?

I would like to ask Dave:p but sadly im at work till 7 tonight so my mum will have to sign for it.

But no big deal, im actually having quite a bit of fun watching Dave make his deliveries, im number 145 and hes at number 123 so not long to go:D

Remember that they do collections too, plus people pay for before 10am 12pm services, so this can change the route and the times of collections or deliveries, and they probably do it due to security too, just so people do not know exactly where they are. :)
