Finally logged in and downloading, 51 minutes to go!

What speed are getting? I'm at 2.1 mb normally it's 4.8 mb

try disable everything in the settings, set to low on others and see how it looks,
you will need to reload the game to be sure changes have taken effect,

if all looks good then turn them on 1 by 1 until you get the problem again then you will know what could be the cause

also DL the 14.6 driver if you haven't already

I downloaded and installed the 14.6 drivers and now Watch Dogs refuses to launch. It just crashes instantly.

Any other 144hz users here suffering from stutter on anything above 60hz on this game?

In response to this, I tested at 100hz and its far smoother with noticably less stuttering on ultra. Linked maybe?

Yay, bought the key from CDKeys which arrived in mins but took ages to log into Uplay (no surprise there) and now downloading at 8MB/s , about 30 mins to get some food before gaming

WTF! Seriously! I pre ordered last week and still haven't got my key from them. The autosystem says outta stock.

Here is what it looks like for me in afterburner running crossfire on 14.6 in watchdogs.

Im still getting negative scaling.. no difference at all to 14.4.

Does this look normal?

I blue screened while chasing a bad guy, said it was some sort of memory problem
(I have 16gb system ram and 3gb for the 7970 card)

Now uplay won't even start, it says login failed, internet connection problem

Anyone elses download get to 100% then start going really really slow while saying ive downloaded 14245 MB out of 14240 MB. I really hate Uplay now and i only had very minor gripes with it before hand :\

NVM, i paused and restarted and it completed, installing now

I purchased the dedsec edition and started sifting through the extras. It includes some debit sized cards that when you use the camera on the Watch Dogs smartphone app on them it shows a hologram of an in game character.

There are 4 different cards included.

Finally into uPlay (on an old account though ) and activated my keys successfully. Now when trying to launch the game uPlay says Steam is launching it and Steam just prepares to launch it then nothing

Any ideas? I'm on 14.6 drivers but 14.4 did the same thing. Verifying integrity now but everything looks fine

listening to music in your car press the horn & music stops. and wont turn back on

Nope on 144hz here and all fine.

hmm, odd, tried 14.6, not much difference, tried a proper uninstall driver then install 14.6, the game seemed faster, smoother, and still does but fraps still reporting relatively awful frame rate. 2x290's should be faster. It could be cpu, but it's a 2500k at 4.6Ghz. It could be that for sure.

Whole thing is just weird, really weird. Also seems like the game is faster sometimes I load it, slower other times, like it's random if it will work well. Very odd game.

I'm a bit concerned that my framerate is tanking but my fans aren't at max speed. What's that indicative of (apart from a bad port)?

this game seems to have a memory leak if you ask me
benchmarks tell us cpu does not really matter GPU does

i5 at 3.5ghz get no less than i7's

however crossfire profile is not that great but ubisoft seem not to be using them properly in my eyes

If you leave Watchdogs running the Pause memory Memory usage can slowly creep up to 9GB

heck its minimized atm im already on 5GB after 2 minutes

I'm such an idiot...... Got onto Uplay first time and started downloading. Thought it would be a good idea to play some wolfenstein while I wait. Like a right numpty I clicked x on Uplay thinking it will send it to the task bar, well it doesn't and know I can't log back in.....

Iv given up on playing this game with crossfire lol.
Tried everything but still getting negative scaling so having to run it on just a single 290.
50-60 fps on crossfire 70-75 on a single care in the same area.

Anyone here using DTS Connect to output gaming audio over optical? I only get audio for the opening cinematic / menu screen, and then no sound at all once the game starts. I can only get the sound fully working when I disable DTS Connect and output 2.0 channel sound.

1st game that brings my 7970 to 73 degrees. 22 degrees in the mancave atm.
