Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

nope to above but audio is very Quiet. using USB DAC

Just had a quick google and looks like I'm not the only one having this problem, seems to affect DTS Connect & Dolby Digital Live... I finally find a graphics setting which is half reasonable @ 60fps, albeit at 1080p, and then this problem crops up!

As for your issue, have you tried going in to the Windows sound properties and disabling the 80% volume drop in the communications tab?

Found another bug.

SLI enabled and hacking a electronic sign on the road, CTD everytime.

Disable SLI and no crash.

Sigh! Ubisoft you really have ballsed this up!

This still seems quite broken with crossfire on 14.6 drivers.

even in the menu screen its laggy... and no matter where I look around in game... even if I look at the floor the fps stay around the same with crossfire enabled..

I gained about 5fps on a single card with the new drivers but the difference is massive with crossfire enabled...

This is on a single 290..maxed out...supersampling set to on in the config file... 33fps

Same area...same settings...crossfire enabled..12fps lol. That's quite a difference.

Performance isnt that bad, but I can't forgive the awful car handling, in an open world game that is dominated by cars and driving they needed to get the handling right and they've made a complete mess of it.

No incentive to continue playing at all, also not enjoying all this hacking either, interesting idea but I don't think it works.

I'd rather just replay GTA IV.

Couldn't launch the game when I updated to AMD 14.6 drivers so I done a re install and it still won't work.

Any ideas for a fix?

I'm in the same boat. Steam tries to launch it but doesn't really get anywhere. If I launch the exe directly I get a 0xc000007b error which is what I got with Planetside 2 a few days ago. Haven't played that in ages so just uninstalled it and thought nothing more.

Just re-installed all the .NET frameworks and currently downloading the AIO-Runtimes which can help supposedly. If this doesn't work I'll be flattening my entire machine!

For anyone whos had enough farting about, the PS4 version is actually pretty good. Mixture of medium and high settings I am guessing, more on the High side.

Not as ugly as made out and the frame rate is solid, even if it is on the low side. No stuttering..... no frame drops galore.

Wouldn't be surprised if my issues on PC were down to having a 120hz screen, Ubisoft dont like those.

Are you running the 14.6 drivers? I was previously using the 14.4 drivers (and it launched) but decided to install the 14.6 drivers for the performance increase.

I may have to revert back and see if that solves it.

Well I fixed the crossfire issue with 14.6 drivers.. Single card 33 fps crossfire 50fps... Funny thing is that it still feels laggier in crossfire even though its more fps lol.
