Maybe there are some new ones about then but a month ago they were very good and Ranks 6 - 4 was flooded with them but they would rarely get past Rank 3 unless they got consistently lucky with their draws.

Golden Portrait and gold. While it is a lot of games to get 1 pack if it is playing on average say 6 games an hour (10 mins a game) and you leave the bot on overnight for say 8 hours that is still a pack and a half at 100% win ratio but that also gets you 48 wins towards your 500 on the golden portrait and hero power.
 
Strifco vs Kolento on day 2 is a really good game, if you want to see what is arguably the best players face off I would highly recommend you watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRtzggPZ6lU . Can't wait for it to start this weekend now, the amount of forward planning they put into each move is crazy (and this is also why I never could play chess I guess :P )

Forsen is starting to get more viewers than trump on some days, guess that plug.dj cancer brings in the big money.
 
I have been watching the hearthstone championship videos on youtube. I am half way through day 2 and no one seems to be using mage when to my beginner eyes it seems like such a powerful class. Why is it being dismissed by so many players?
 
Paladin and Mage are tiers below everything else in the game. She was at one point completely broken and people were leaving the game in droves, I stopped playing for one month because of how OP she was (old skool freeze Mage). Thankfully Blizzard made sure that would never happen again and nerfed her into oblivion. She's top tier in Arena though so there's that.

Thanks Lodjk, I thought for a minute the reason was that she is banned as she is so powerful. I am surprised she is considered lower tier as she has so many powerful spells and secrets including the counter spell one.

Do you know what the ratio is for legendaries to packs and epics to packs?
 
That is not great. When I played eye of judgement (RIP) if you bought a booster box (36 packs) you were guarateed at least 5 ultra rare cards but with that ratio you could buy the 40 pack deal and only get 1 legendary. Not very tempting at all for £35.
 
I've bought a 40pack before for around £35 I believe and I got like 6 legendaries from it. Just depends I guess. I've gotten 2 in a single pack before.

I got golden maly and deathwing in mine :p
 
Man I love this game but it is so disgusting right now. Nothing but Hunter spam abusing the most imbalanced card in the game all weekend :(
 
I played like 60 games and ~50 of them were against Hunter at Rank 7 (been stuck there for 2 days now on a ~50% WR). I'm referring to Mad Scientist not Undertaker. The free tempo gained from him if he's not silenced puts you immediately behind. I mean you can counter Hunter with Priest or Zoo but I don't want to :P

Might just play Tournaments only and a bit of Heroes of the Storm until the new expansion hits otherwise I might end up putting my mouse through the screen :)
 
When I play that specific hunter deck I seem to have real trouble with paladin. The rest doesn't seem too bad (in general) I've never been above rank 11
 
But surely you cannot select who you match up against? I mean if you use a Zoo or Priest deck, you are not necessarily going to be squared up against a Hunter (just luck of the match making process I guess?).

Also I seem to be losing against HUnters WITH my Zoo deck...

How do you guys list your decks on here? Just cut and paste into paint and host on somewhere like imgur?

E: Im struggling to break through 17.
