The Crew

First pickup 3 part mission co-op style, felt great when completing it.

Which mission was that? Sounds excellent.

I tell you what, the Fiesta RS is amazing!! The full stock version is alright but goodness me the Perf spec is out of this world and I just don't know how they made it feel so incredible to drive. Even the dirt spec is on another level.

It could simply be the difference between the Charger and the Fiesta. I had picked straight line power over a light weight vehicle, since I always pick lightweight and fancied something different. I'm just so glad I went to the New York dealership as soon as it was available and found this Fiesta and then to Miami to get the Perf spec as soon as that also became available.

I've even been cheeky and popped over to Vegas after that quick visit mission, found a dealership and test drove the Lamborghini and Porsche.

Really can't believe how much fun I'm having with this game. I almost don't want to complete it and just replay previous races to beat friends track times/points. The attraction of a 220mph car is so strong.... "you salivate, but you must resist."

I think the money is just right, there's enough to be frivolous but not enough to break the game and buy a Lamborghini when you're 15% complete.

Fine picking up online races for me, but ill admit it's always on invite (never refused)

The three part jobbie was a takedown at the vegas airfield, followed by a razz around the vegas oval track, then a legit in the car your racing in away from the circuit when the goons realise the rouse.

The co-op made it fun for the first 2 parts, the take down being more of a your turn/mine, and around the track we were drafting each other to hit the optimal time.

Tbh though im just loving driving around just as much, my rl ride is in the game, which i now have. Just had a stunningly fluid ride down to Amarillo.

Games beginning to open up now, but like you I know iv'e gota hold it back.:o

That's funny, the Vegas mission is exactly the same mission I mentioned in my question to you. If you fancy playing with a few exotic cars, fast travel back to Vegas and visit the dealership.

You're right, that would be a fantastic mission for co-op... especially since it's our first taste of the Ford GT!! Take down missions are fantastic in co-op.

Anyone struggling to get into online races?

I haven't tried any PVP races yet but all other co-op races have been fine bar one. The guy was in China and our takedown mission ran fine as well as driving around the regular map but we had serious rubber banding when entering a race with three other AI racers.

Also there seems to be a lack of visible players too. All yesterday I only saw one or maybe two other players in the map, which is surly impossible. I haven't seen a single one of the OcUK lads on here apart from Munchbunch.

Rather odd, bizarre how I missed on the vegas mission, they all have names I think, not really something I pay that much attention to.

As for the massively multiplayer thing, you're all connected apparently, just only so many show on the map. Ubi's forum guy doesn't make all that much sense, but he classes it all as a mmo that and because everybody is connected up by an irc game lobby... I think..

That's me done for the day, just done 1hr race to new york from the military base, my arse has gone square... f'in epic, been absolutely years since I felt that connected to a game.

grabbing this today for £25 missed out at game and cant find it any cheaper just just need something new to play. whats the customization like? thats one of the main things i loved about the first few NFS

Just back from town, game have it 19.99 off the shelf.

It's worth 20 quid. Customization is there, not something im too clued up on tbh. From reading threads over on the forum, this link might answer your question better.

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/966953-Car-Customization-Pros-Cons-and-Suggestions-for-the-Future-(MODS-DEVS-READ-THIS)?

I think like with everybody who's played the game, every one has a big list of stuff they'd like to see added. The world and scope is all there for it to happen.

Only had a quick go of it as i had to go sort some stuff out im at the part where you get to pick your first car hope all the cars dont handle like the black one you pick up after the first initial policr chase at the beginning

Drag race anyone?

I'm still having trouble adding people to my crew. It just doesn't work! Anybody know a fix?

How are you trying to add people into your crew? If I can add them as friends then push in the right analog stick, you'll see a list off all your friends, select one of them and their card flips around and you'll have an option to add them to your crew.

Does anyone have any tips for better FFB from this game, or am I just expecting too much from the crew?

Did you try the wheel setup instructions given a few pages back? It was a link to steam forums.
