What film did you watch last night?

Kingsman.

I had high expectations from watching the trailer and they were exceeded somewhat. Great film, good humour, great fighting and cool gadgets. What more is needed?!

Birdman - 8/10 - Not what I expected but it was till pretty awesome! I loved it, every minute of it and the only thing that bothers me is the ending.
 
The raid 2

Watched the first raid and I enjoyed it, was expecting much of the same but after a while you can see the raid 2 has worked with a much bigger budget.

Absolutely awesome movie, best I've watched so far this year. One thing I will say is its very very gory in places:eek:

Fight scenes are epic!

Just finished watching "The Guest" which is made by the same guys who did "You're Next", I think.

Very, very good with a fantastic soundtrack and a clever balance of mystery, violence and humour. Think "Universal Soldier" but more rad, like on a scale of 1 to 10 it might be 14.
 
I've watched a few over the past few days/week-end, will just give a general "out of 10" score...:

Nightcrawler - 8.5/10

Edge of Tomorrow - 7/10

Inside Llewyn Davis - 7.5/10 (Just a quick note, I really wanted to like this more, but for some reason it just didn't click with me, even though I loved everything about the film for the most part).

Birdman - 8/10


Probably going to watch John Wick soon, but I'm still unsure. Getting very mixed options from the last few pages of this thread, all different ranges of scores, etc. Guess I'll just have to watch it myself :D

Unbroken - 7/10 Enjoyable, as long as you have not read the book.

A Walk Among the Tombstones - 6/10 Typical Liam Neeson action film. You have seen it all before.
 
The Book of Life

Only partially watched it as I kept getting distracted by the lovely lady next to me, but there were some lol moments in the 60-or-so% I did watch.

This kingsman has completely flown under my radar, I've seen the trailer and thought little of it. Now everyone is rating it fairly highly. Not a bad thing :) love a suprise good movie.

Before this film I hated Robert Downey Jr. One of the best films I have seen in years 10/10 easy. very emotional

A screwed up film in a good way 7/10 original
