As much as im sorry for those of us who have paid money for 3d gaming setups i do think that standard 3d gaming through glasses with a 3d capable monitor is such a horrible experience it aint worth the time. There are all sorts of issue one of the worst being Crosstalk(even cinamas has serious issues with crosstalk) and reduced brightness. The future in this regard is VR headsets even without head tracking imho. Sucks to have spendt money on current 3d equipment such as emitters and glasses let alone the monitor.

The game in it's present state is garbage and NVidia put their name to it.

TWIMTBP what a pathetic joke NVidia have made of that.

Batman Arkham Knight, brought to you by the people who gave the world the GTX 590 and 970.

By all means praise NVidia when they do well but be prepared to be critical when they are associated with garbage.

Nobody is praising NVIDIA, you just sound ignorant when you're slamming them without really putting any thought as to why. You sound like a disguntled pensioner having to wait too long in open surgery. NVIDIA did not decide to release this game in the state they did, nor was it in their control to stop WB from doing so.

A more realistic comment to make would be along the lines of "NVIDIA should re-evaluate who they partner with and produce stricter criteria to avoid things like this from happening". Or even more realistically, companies like WB shouldn't sit around and actively decide to release an unfinished product.

The fact you've mentioned two graphics cards at a whim without reason shows just how vender agnostic you really are considering it has no relevance here and you're ranting for points sake.

Just got this ingame on LOADS of textures and it doesn't go away for ages :p

Wow that is bad.

There's things like this in Payday 2 (I know not the most graphically demanding game) but when you looked through car windows the interiors were so much lower resolution than the outside of the car. it's little things like this that annoy me really.

NVIDIA probably didn't pre-empt this any more than I could pre-empt you mentioning a 590GTX.

This is the 4th game in the series, none of them have been anywhere near this unpolished. You're just being dramatic with no real reason behind it, because you've neglected to implicate the people that worked on the game once. Seems genuinely very narrow sighted. Nobody is saying this reflects well on NVIDIA.

Oh I have had Nvidia 3D for years. Got the V2 version last year. I only play proper 3D titles though, so to hear this game is not Nvidia 3D is a blow.

Still, I am eagerly waiting for Oculus!

Cheers bud. I doubt I will be here for long, as even when I post facts (with proof), stay on topic and don't insult anyone I get suspended. Oh well, that's life :D

Anyways, Batman AK is fantastic. I am a good 50% in now and loving it. Not a single crash for me. I installed on a SSD though and for fun, I steam moved it to a HDD and that is bad, so if anyone is stuttering like it did for me on the HDD, pop it on a SSD and you should be golden.

I have, but setting the maximum desired framerate to 62, and minimum to 52 helped in my case. This is in the engine ini.

I'm playing at a decent frame rate with everything on besides Enhanced Rain at 4K with a single TX since Rocksteady made the last minor fixes.

No crashes here either
