Yes. However FRTC works only on DX10+ games.
Saying that the only "current games" that are DX9 are World of Tanks/Warships. Which are 1 core cpu limited and they do not support CF.

So you will never hit 144 fps :D (if you are sane and do not set the graphics to Ultra low)

What about Source games like CS:GO and Dota 2?

Use the games own frame limiter if they have one, or use MSI afterburner works very well. TBH I wont even use AMD Frame rate limiter, Nice feature to have going forward though.

I wasn't asking how to do it. I was just suggesting a few other 'current games' that don't use DX10 or later because Panos said:

Now admittedly they're not DX9, but I think the point was more non-DX10+

Screen came back from Benq RMA now shipped out Monday and came back Today :D. They didn't swap out the monitor though so got the same one back but with V002. Going to try the settings later.

Anyone know how i can Dead Space 1 and 2 into 1440p, Dead Space starts loading, screen goes into standby 'No Signal Detected', bit of CTRL+ALT+DEL, gets it back on, and back to the desktop, bring Dead Space back up, screen stays on, but still in my old res of 1080p, change it to 1440p, get the same standby, 'No Signal Detected', then comes back on after a bit, but at 1080p still.

Dead Space 2 loads up fine, but in 1080p (from my old screen), change it to 1440p, standby, 'No Signal Detected', comes back @1080p.

:(

EDIT: Scrap that, ive just booted em back up, and they both boot up fine now, in 1440p, wtf! :D

Just connected up my monitor, got a couple of questions...

1) On the stand, on the right hand side (if you're looking at the screen) what is the plastic red bit that moves up and down for?

2) I'm using the DP cable supplied with the monitor, when I set the refresh rate to 144Hz if flickers like crazy, when I set it to 120Hz it's fine. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

1) It's a height-adjustment guide and preference marker. Refer to the 'features and aesthetics' section of my review. ;)

2) I assume you're using an AMD GPU? This issue should have been fixed with recent graphics drivers. I'd recommend upgrading that, or if using a recent one doing a clean install.

So now I've got my freesync monitor along with the latest drivers, how do I enable FreeSync? (And enable/Disable VSync)

CCC, My Digital Flat-panel, Properties down bottom Freesync - tick box.

In game enable or disable vsync

My personal choice, run freesync with vsync off - but Use MSI AB and frame cap the frame rate at 140fps.. You never see screen tear again and run all games very smooth without the unwanted effects of vsync.

Hope this helps.

Nope, it's not showing up for me.
