Yeah carbs never moved out of the frame so I don't think they are at fault. Going to look up a fuel line diagram and see if it's something silly around the lines to the tank as its a vacuum tank
 
Put my bike in the garage after my van was broken into last night.
Luckily there was nothing in there...I think the scumbag had seen the rings on the windscreen from the nav and decided to have a look-see.

Weird thing is though I know I locked it and put the alarm on but there are no signs of forced entry and the alarm didn't go off.
Now have a thread in the Home and Garden section for CCTV spec me.

And cafe racers - some are just stupid, but give me a Norton domiracer or a ducati sport classic any day, in fact Tron legacy and the sport classic in that film was THE bike that got me into bikes. A monoposto sport classic is on my "must own" list of bikes.

Turns out a vacuum hose had cut itself in half. quick trip to local bike garage and swapped it out.....and she lives!

That's where the good news ends sadly. The rev counter isnt working and the engine isnt running properly either - seems to be spitting soot out the exhaust when revving.

I don't know if this is because the battery is flat and I'm having to jump start it off a car though

I dont have a double chin or a pot belly:p (its funny though one arse and so many machines,no need)

I hate selling bikes,all I seem to attract is timewasters,only bike I flogged in a matter of a few weeks was a kmx 125
 
after a few mins of running to warm up the engine has improved. had to adjust the idle a bit. I think the mixture need sorting out though as it doesnt sound right and chokes when trying to pull away
