Hah, just had a Mr.Bean moment. Some of the wire in my 28 gauge kanthal was loose and I couldn't tighten it up by pulling on it. So I started to unravel it but it wasn't unravelling freely. I ended up with springy wire spaghetti junction. After trying for a bit I thought **** it, and threw it all in the bin. Quite a bit a left too. :p
 
getting soooo darn annoyed with the smok TFV4. Sodding thing is always leaking!!!

Just got a uwell crown though and must say, bang for the buck that the flavour is awesome!

Fallen out of love with titanium, been using kanthal again the last few weeks, changed out my crius for dual 26g 2mm titanium last night and I can't get a decent vape out of it, even having it ramped to 500f 80J, it's weak and lacking in flavour.

Yea I have to say I'm not a massive fan of titatium either. Been using a dual coil build in my Zephyrus and flavour is definitely lacking. Will be going back to kanthal I think. Bit annoying really as I've rebuilt the coils a few times and ensured that the wire was clean before doing so.
 
Jut received 2l VG from lubrisolve and a few concentrates from vapable, t juice and vfw. happy as a pig in the proverbial, lot of batches coming after weeks of having to buy premix. Cookies and cream, Jungle Juice, colonel custard and black n blue. I'm going to aim for 10% flavour and 82/18 vg/pg for my little boy dual coil SS

i find with TI that the first 6 -12 toots can taste funny, not every build though which is odd as the wire is from the same spool and the wick from the same strand of rayon, otherwise ive no complaints with TI bar cleaning as its not able to clean up like kanthal or SS wire.

With the Crius, ive both the V2 and V3, i found the best build in the V2 to be dual 24awg 2.5mm coils, in the V3 i have dual twisted 26awg 2.5mm coils, both spaced coil setups, both at 220c and i get a nice warm and flavourful vape and good clouds.
However now my V2 wont vape in TC ive put in a dual 25awg SS 317L build, 2.5mm again and at 60w in Power mode its fantastic, not had a single dry hit which surprised me, moving to TC was in an effort to get away from dry hits, but in learning to get the best out of TC it has taught me to wick better and i think there in lies the key...

Getting the right flavour and clouds and heat from your vape is all down to the coil size for the deck and chamber of an atty but also the wicking is vital, too much and you can take one or two long pulls before it dry hits, too little and it dry hits one the first pull and in both cases you end up reducing power to balance it and thus reduce your vape and flavour, getting the wick tight in the coils (using Rayon as it shrinks), is vital to help keep the coils wet and stop them overheating, but getting the juice from the deck through the tails to the coils requires less cotton otherwise the coils wick too slow..

So i pull my wicks through the coils tight but then trim the tails as shorts as possible and make them fluffy and trim them a little thinner before laying them to the deck, since this method ive had a great time with the Crius in power mode, and other tanks in TC.
 
I've decided on a bunch of concentrates guys, a lot based on Danneh's apple pie mix earlier in the thread and Gee's suggestion to add a bit of pear to it. These look good? I had Fuji apple in the basket but decided to change it for Strawberry and added Vienna Cream too.

Looks good to me, I can reccomend the bilberry (blueberry) and banana too, a nice mix I discovered on vapingunderground is 3:1 banana:cookie (up to 6%:2%) and a drop per 10ml of marzipan, cheap, quick and tasty!

Vienna cream, cookie, custard and vanilla are staples IMO, they go a long way and they go well in pretty much anything. Before you order though, check out FA's 6 for £16 deal, basically buy 5 get 1 free! They also have loyalty points which equate to 10% off.

A good resource for FA recipes is the user HeadInClouds on vapingunderground, he has tons and they're all really good! I made my apple pie on my own but it's pretty close to his.

Cinnamon is a VERY strong flavour so be careful with that!

Fresh Cream is good, add that to Vienna Cream and that's your standard Ice Cream base.

Vanilla Tahiti/Classic are both really nice.

Lemon Sicily, Lime Cold Pressed & Distilled are three that you should have in your collection imo.

EDIT: Just seen Danneh's post above. I've only used Bilberry once for a Blueberry & Coconut smoothie, wasn't really my cup of tea tbh.

Banana is good! Add 2% of it to 3% Kiwi for Kiwi'nana - one of my go-to recipes now. Proper nice!

Apple Fuji is by far the best tasting apple concentrate I've used so I can also recommend that.

Forest Fruits (add to Fuji) is nice for an apple/blackcurrant type flavour.

+1 to HIC on VU though, his recipes are always spot on!

Amen to that Merlin5, the Crius has just been delivered to work, also from myepack :-)

Looking forward to building it this evening.
I'm not used to top fill, it looks amazingly convenient!

I'll have to buy more as I go. Maybe I'll add banana and Fuji though. Yeah, I came across HIC in my travels last night, he does seem well respected with recipes. Here's one I found last night I'm going to try

I can vouch for that recipe above, mate at work made some and I like it!

I only add EM to my mixes if it specifically says to add it.

Bottles - yeah I do. The screw threading on my PG bottle is kinda crap so it leaks a little bit when inverted. I keep mine in the fridge when I'm not using it. I'm sure you could fashion a cap out of blu-tac or something.

Nice one, thanks Gee. Well, its only £2.10 + 75p postage for 10ml of EM at Valiant2Vape so I'll order a small bottle and then I'll have should I need it. I often have a problem with tasting sweetness in juices, mostly because of me and not the juices, so it may come in handy.

Right then, here's my updated concentrates basket.



I'll buy those now. And just received the last of my current vapemail from Lubrisolve. Phew! Now to go clean and build the Velocity. :)

 
Looks good to me man! However as I said earlier, be careful with the cinnamon!

I'd give the Velocity a good clean dude, if I remember when mine arrived there were some loose burrs around the post holes, you don't want those in your lungs!

Nicotine looks a little dark to me, mine's always been a very very pale straw colour (if anything clear!) - keep an eye on that.
 
I got my hana one... It's the feels and looks rubblish, but for £40 it's a win...

Actually, when I ordered from Lubrisolve over the phone, I'm fairly sure he said to me that it should be dark and that most people think it should be clear.
I just googled it and on UK Vapers, apparently PG nic takes on a pinkish colour and VG nic takes on an orangey colour.
