Do you have cpuz installed - would be interesting to see the Vcore at idle when and under load. The vid in Core Temp i don't trust but would explain the temps.
No rush to do it now - i would concentrate on getting your drivers installed and other software prepped etc...
As plec said get everything up and running, run a game and play it for about 20 mins minimum.
Your temps are on the warm side as your core voltage is above 1.4v under load. Seems a bit excessive, even with turbo enabled - that would probably power a 4.8Ghz+ clock. But as mentioned before - prime 95 is a synthetic test designed to push the chip to nth degree so the MB will apply a voltage it thinks it needs when set to auto.
But as said don't worry - it will be less with everyday use - including gaming. You could look at lowering it if temps appear to be warm when gaming etc...
More fans are always good as long as they're working with each other but you may not get the temp drops you hope for.
That would give you 2 intakes at the front - with the newly installed front one more in line with the CPU - and one exhaust.
It's a better configuration, especially with the second intake blowing unhindered onto (or nearly onto) the HS - with the unused drive bay removed.
You may only see a 1 - 2 degree difference - especially with your intakes set on minimum - but it shouldn't increase your noise levels and every little helps ( I'm not quoting Tescos i hate them - needed to stress that as i have to shop at the 'parading aisles of loons' sometimes. Love home deliveries...).
EDIT: What are your temps/noise levels like with the fans set at medium and high? Might be worth look for comparison purposes - as you will always have the option of switching them up when gaming.
And again don't get too hung up about your temps - I'm more interested in what they're like when you're gaming. Get some DOOM, BF1 or ARMA under your belt - or similar...
EDIT x 2: More pics of rig please - and what's your verdict of the screen? Very envious and giving me ideas of doing a needless upgrade...
Depends on which card you meant to get and which card you have?
There would be very little real life performance increase between the 2 cards - not that you would notice as you have nothing to compare it to (yes in bench marking).
And the other card may have run cooler/quieter - but if you've got a working card and pleased with the results and its load noise levels i wouldn't worry about it.
You've probably saved yourself a fair whack of my money, depending on what you meant to order, and you would have to pay a p&p plus a restocking fee if you've damaged packaging etc (assuming you bought from OC).
You've had a seamless build to date - i would be hesitant to needlessly rock the boat.
But if you're unhappy, that's a different matter...
Glad it all came together so smoothly - and you're pleased with the end result - always a bonus.
Got any pics - like to see the case - plus that epic sized screen.
I just want to build another PC nowany new technology on the horizon? haha
