Not far off the platinum for this, quite an easy platinum by the looks of it just time consuming, some of the trials are quite difficult.

Believe me, if I can do them, anyone can. The hardest one for me was probably getting the two ravagers and thunderjaw one. But I did it with time to spare after about 5 attempts.

Ah yes done them trials yesterday, found them all ok after a few attempts, the toughest for me was the trials where you need to silent kill the watchers (watch out trial) and the sleight of crate trial, where you need to terablast the crates off the shell walkers, both give you very little time to do it in and the latter has been made more difficult in a recent update.

Yeah, you've got 1:05 to do it and there are two Stalkers near by likely to run into.

the watcher one is the only one i cant get a blazing sun on.

The shell walker one was quite easy before an update as you needed 4 crates and 3 were sitting on the floor so only needed to blast one off a shell walker, recent updates has made it so only 1-2 are sitting on floor so you need to blast off at least two from the walkers, took me about 8 attempts and I think luck plays a big part in this trial.

There is good guide that gives you a route to take making things easier.

I used this, still took a few attempts but it worked

What I found with these guides was the AI didn't act the same as other peoples experiences. Oh and they made the whistling harder as it has less range now.

For sleight trial you should buff up with shock resist as much as possible. Makes it easier if it gets a bit mental.

I also buffed shock to do the Stalkers seeing as I shock bombed them into oblivion.

Yep forgot about that but you're right... fully buffed up made those trials a breeze.

I see the DLC is up for pre-order now.

Really weird - i got a platinum reward email yesterday. But AFAIK i havent platinumed HZD. I havent even completed it yet.

Perhaps a bug?

Lots of people on Reddit have reported getting that email. Some people who haven't even bought the game.
Would appear to be a mistake by Sony - does somewhat devalue the Platinum reward somewhat

Sleight trial put me off bothering with platinum to be honest. That time limit is so tight it's mostly down to luck, not my idea of fun.

Think I will still dip back in to get all the figurines and stuff though.

Any news on the DLC release date?

It sure is luck, it took me about 6-8 attempts with about 1 second to spare.

Hmmm level 40 ATM and I don't think iv done to many story missions lol.

Is there only the 3 Hunters lodge weapon you can get?

Trails are pretty easy apart from the crab one. Took me a few try's.
