It's a bit lame that for 6 seasons we thought the Wall would keep the White Walkers out and now it turns out they are just going to cross the frozen sea and go around it.

Bit more to it than that I believe, it's the nights king mark on Bran that will allow them to pass south of the wall...either through, over or around it.

The dragons need to make their grand entrance in battle yet. That will likely happen with the Tarly army imo, Then heading over to take out Euron, in which I fully expect one of the Dragons to be taken out by a massive cross bow.

I think I noticed a mistake in the writing.

Dany said to Jon that he had lost 2 brothers, but surely it should be 3 as everyone else is still unaware of Bran's return.

Viserion is my bet. Out of all the dragons, he is the one named after a cowardly character who everyone hated. Rheagar and Drogo were true warriors.

We haven't seen Drogon yet, he is probably absolutely humongous now.

Also, why would the Tully army fight Dany? You don't mean the Tarly army do you?

Yeah them lol.

So many names.

What about that little look Littlefinger gave the Winterfell Maester when he mentioned that Maester Luwin kept records, or copies, of all previous raven communication? Maybe the maester will go off to check and find something he shouldn't, perhaps a record of a raven that Littlefinger sent to Winterfell to activate his Bran assassin, or something along those lines?

It seems to me the timeline for the ship battles is very dodgy. As far as I can tell:

Yara, Sandsnakes and Unsullied head south in two different groups to Casterly rock/Doorne > Euron intercepts the first group and sails to King's Landing > Euron sails out again and catches the second group all the way over at Casterly rock.

Is is possible to fight a battle, do two lengths of Blackwater Bay and still catch up with the second group transporting the Unsullied?

Think it's probably ok. They'd have 2/3 days lead on him but travelling a long distance. Say it's 10 days to casterly rock (making up numbers), that'd be plenty of time for the bigger, faster and more experienced iron fleet to reel in and hit the unsullied fleet which have presumably arrived at casterly rock at least half a day ahead of Euron. He probably had to slow down if anything.

Edit: Love his flagship btw with the Kraken and those extra out sails (whatever they're called).

Theon told Tyrion last season that he didn't kill Bran. Tyrion probably told Daenerys.

I don't even get what the point of capturing Casterly was... i mean sure you're on the other side of Kings Landing, but it's a complete waste.

Should have just blockaded Blackwater and have the dragons pick off any enemy ship, but i suppose they didn't know about Euron... though surely they should have had an idea about it from Theon/Yara.

You can't see why you'd want to capture the seat of the most powerful family against you and their lands?
It's also where their main resource, gold, is mined and kept which is rather important. Granted they didn't know those mines are dry.

Besiege Kings Landing, take out the Lannister army and resources and it'd be over in a week. That was the plan at least.

Wasn't it the whole idea of if you can't protect your own home why should others rely on you to do help protect theirs? ie a sign of weakness if you lose your ancestral home
