What have you done to your car today?

Cleaned it and also got around to removing two of the rear chrome badges.

Didn't take a before shot, but here's an old picture for comparison.

Why is it that Americans are incapable of tuning cars properly? Presenting a car for a worldwide audience that is misfiring it's **** off all the time, not exactly a good show.

~400hp in a little sports coupe is a magical thing though.

Dunno, but I agree 400hp in a BRZ would be perfect for the road and occasional trackday. :D

At which point you could just fit a different/modify the diffuser?
But you don't have to, its like the maker of these cars wants you to modify them.

Got my exhaust back and ready to go back on!

And do I need a 'rubber ring' to sit in side the gasket in the chamfered part?

Impreza's cambelt was due in May, well under on the mileage though. Haven't really used it much recently but made a start on it tonight. Was working until 7 so only got an hour or so before I ran out of light but made good progress. The engine bay looks so full on first glance but once you remove a few things there's loads of room to get your hands (and in my case, body) in there.

Finished fitting the cambelt after work on Friday. Pretty chuffed at getting the timing spot on the first attempt.

I then went to get my phone out of the MG (to take the above picture) and rather enthusiastically opened the drivers door, slamming it straight into the side of the Impreza!!!
