Actually selling her now & unsure how much to ask, don't think she's worth much though.
Celica T-Sport. Even with 136k miles she still shifts when the cams lift.
[Edit] Is there a Celica expert on here as the owners club where its for sale are saying its not a T-Sport even though its on the log book & HPI check I did years ago.

Nice, wish there were some roads like that where I live :p

But reminds me I need to whip out my action cam too, get some exhaust clips etc

Doubt you get many roads in space....

It's pretty good up here. Plenty of opportunities to learn a car's characteristics.

It's definitely a T-Sport, they're just trying to get you to drop price, or are being thrown by the lack of rear spoiler.
As to its value, you are absolutely right when you say not much. Between £1000-1300, depending on condition - probably the lower end looking at the alloys.

Thanks, yep just discovered the T-Sport was released Aug 2001 . Although, apart from mine having the revised 2ZZ-GE engine with lift-bolt fix I can't see any difference to the 190
Yeah the wheels are now corroded, rust at rear of rear wheel arch, behind nearside rear window & a front fog light broken but new they're £276. I thought if someone wanted a VVTLi cheap this is it & the cost to tidy it up means I'm asking £975.

Try selling it on a MR2 forum. They swap in the 2ZZ-GE engine because it's not that difficult. Someone might give you near the asking price, take out the engine and break the rest.

Yes it is basically a 190 with the revised engine. Many Celica owners find it confusing... a 2002 T-Sport with no spoiler.
I think she looks quite sleek without a spoiler anyhow, as on a front wheel drive it would just slow it down but with a little better stability at high speed.
Here's a shot I took last summer, all waxed up in the sun:

Did the T-Sport have a body kit? I know the GT did.

No like you say the GT did. There was optional stuff for the T-Sport and 190

Thats a 190, its what the T-Sport was called before they renamed them T-Sports

Same thing apart from a few changes, some of them were changes to the engine because the early models had some issues

Different lift bolts, made out of a different grade of metal cos the old ones had a tendency to shear off. Think thats the only change to the engine.

Yeah I agree its a 190 but badged T-Sport which is linked to the reg/log book etc. It must have the lift bolt fix as they're still fine after the 5 years I've had her.
It hardly uses any oil or a single drop on he drive.
