He was very green when he was at United and the competition for places was very tough. I remember him being quite error prone too. Ferdinand and Vidic was a tough partnership to break into. After those you had the likes of Phil Jones, Rojo and Chris Smalling. Just there at the wrong time, but has improved immeasurably since getting regular first team football.
He said himself after the move that he felt like he wasn’t developing properly at United.

Haha yes every single year for the past few yrs we are linked with Benz. Real won’t sell him and I don’t think he has any intention to leave them.
Yep exactly what I was thinking as well, I heard they want Giroud on a loan to help soften the blow of Auba leaving. Plus it helps Giroud play more as he wants to get into the French WC squad.
So I don’t get the stupidity of arsenal and our so called transfer negotiators. Give them the money and Giroud on loan.
All depends on if Giroud wants to go there though surely? It would be good for his international career but apparently his wife loves London.

As for Giroud, if he really wants to go to the WC with France then he won’t be going sat on the arsenal bench. He needs to start and get some playing time. So if he wants that then get yourself off to Dortmund but if he isn’t bothered about it then stay on the bench at Arsenal and get used to being a sub.
The France national coach has said in order for Giroud to bag a spot in the WC squad he needs to be playing regularly. He won’t get that at Arsenal sadly.

Well if that’s the case then either he can leave her behind and go make something of his career and possibly go to the WC. Or he can sit on the bench at Arsenal and wonder what if etc.
He’s a footballer, not a party guy so what does Dortmund being dead have to do with anything??
