Games you're playing, and games...

I'm way behind the bell curve but just finished Spiderman for the PS4. What an amazing game, utterly brilliant.

I hope a sequel follows for the new PS.

I think it's inevitable with Sony having since bought Insomniac. Cerny even used Spidey to highlight some of the limitations of the older console, explaining how PS5 would make it better.

I know I'm rather late to the party but Ive' just finished The Last of Us Remastered.

What a game!!!

This wasn't my first go. In fact I'd tried a few times but for some reason it didn't click with me.

The (now delayed) part 2 got me on the hype train so thought I should at least give part 1 another go and since I'm grounded quarantined, why not. So glad I did, it clicked this time.

This game kicks you square in the feels, especially at the start but again in a few places throughout. Maybe because I've got a couple of young daughters, maybe because I'm a soft *****??

Some parts are a bit tough too. Now I'm not the greatest of gamer, too old, reactions too slow; the
Ellie in the snow
section nearly had me rage quitting. Glad I didn't so I got to
see off David
:)

This is my fav game of all time. First game I played on the PS4 as it came with the console. Blown away by it. What a game

I have just started GoW and enjoying it so far. Looks nice and has a last of us vibe about it. I've also bought Bloodborne as it was on offer on PS store, to play afterwards. That should keep me occupied for a while

Still enjoying COD MW but having a break from it.

Tried Nier Automata on game pass recently but didn't like it.

Just started a new playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2, taking my time this time and trying to do more of the challenges and stranger missions that I missed on 1st playthrough, this is such a great game, always finding something new that I missed on 1st play.

Just completed Alien Isolation again (and also the Crew Expendable and other add ons). Really enjoyed the game but not quite the same impact 2nd time around. On my first play through it was a genuine scary experience but not so much this time.

Also during lockdown I completed Return to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City (done the originals back on the 360) so was good to revisit.

Next up....Destiny 1 and 2.
Never played them when they first came out so looking forward to it.

Currently playing Links Awakening and Retro Bowl on iPhone. Hugely addictive game I wish it was more in-depth.

I’m seriously tempted to get Bannerlord on the PC as I’ll sink weeks into that.

Still working my way through Final Fantasy VII Remake and once I've finished that I'm going to go back to Persona 5 Royal which is amazing and will likely take me 100+ hrs to do everything I want. In between those dabbling with Animal Crossing : New Horizons on the Switch.

Just started Control - What a fantastic game so far, was never quite sure about it but now I have dived in and got a feel and (kinda understand :p) what is going on - I can tell I am going to love this

Anyone else played this? I find the map a bit confusing at times, like it doesn't seem to show exactly where you are or what floor you are on - is it just me?

I'm enjoying this too but yeah, the map is terrible. I'm trying to complete a side mission and I can see where I need to go on the map, but I just can't get there.
