NR200 Owner's Thread

Right guys the TG panel fits only just, with the Scythe Mugen 5 cooler with 2 fans in push pull.

Ok this is interesting, is this your build? Very nice if so, loving the GPU deshrouded look

Did you do anything to get the Mugen to fit or did you just install and pray, what kind of gap are we talking to the glass is it touching or is their space there?

Must admit I'm a tad confused because tech testers clearly showed the Evo 212 not allowing the glass to shut

Edit - Ah ok its 154.5mm tall so 1.5mm taller than CM's recommend spec, this probably the best 120mm cooler that'll fit with the TG panel if it is a straight drop in and it doesn't touch the glass

Honestly considering selling my v5 NCASE for one of these. What do you have in the way of filters? The NCASE has magnetic filter sheets which are easy to remove and clean, do we have something similar here?

My build/Project mod in the "Coolermaster NR200P ITX case" Revision 1
The best ITX case so far I have built-in,
All quick release panels, Quick mount SSD/HDDs, even the front I/O wires Reset, HDD, LED, Power
are already fitted to an adaptor, Just plugin.

After my first practice build, I moved the PSU Cage to the front mounting point
Since I am not using the GPU Riser Cable for Vertical GPU Mounting
at the moment.

Hardware that is used in this build
Coolermaster NR200P MINI-ITX CASE White
Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX (AMD AM4) B550 MINI-ITX MOTHERBOARD
Ryzen 3700X
Corsair 3200mh RGB KIT 16GB
Gigabyte RTX 2070 SUPER 3 fans
Corsair SF750W SFX PSU
Samsung SSD 500GB
Seagate 4TB 2.5" HDD for storage

Pack of Akasa Silicon rubber pins
2 x Silverstone fine dust filters
2 x star tech SATA 12" Cables
1 x Shakmods 8 Pin CPU Extension Cable
1 x Silverstone 24 PIN Extension Cable
Speclux Magnetic Addressable Digital LED Strips

on a hot day, even the Cooler master box comes in handy, PURRFECT!

Another nice feature, The front I/O wires are fit to an adaptor so you only need to push in the right way up.

Replaced the 2 top panel Coolermaster pwn fans with Arctic P12s white

Modding the case feet
I changed the case feet to ones that can be adjusted in height,
where the stock feet once were.
Now I have some height from the ground I can mount 2 more Arctic P12s using easy silicon rubber fan Pins under the bottom panel,
I also have ARGB Strip around them.

Reused the stock feet screws & holes in the bottom panel &
drilled 2x 1mm holes into the new feet base & screw the feet on.

More to follow...

(1)Artwork for the front panel,
(2)Modding the Arctic 240mm 38mm thick AIO
(3)Vented window panel for Vertical GPU Mounting,
(4)Trying out different feet.
Maybe a USB TYPE C mount,

They are on the side panels too

Removable ones, right?

Also, is only the NR200P sold in the UK? Was hoping to get the cheaper one without the TG panels but I can't see anything.

What were the two white filters for?

Arctic liquid freezer II 240 may get one later on,
when the 240 first come out & Arctic was not well known for coolers, could be picked up for less than £60

Yes, the side panels are magnetic filters, the same as the bottom. Only the top filter isn't easily removable.

I've been playing around making my own DIY light strips for the case this afternoon. Got a load of the WS2812b led strips for Arduino/Pi projects/tinkering, great to be able to connect these directly to my motherboard!

How well does your GPU perform without the shroud and the fans on the bottom of the case versus strapped to the heatsink? Any issues? I am eager to replace the GPU fans because they are the loudest component in my build.

I have the fans set to a custom profile so temps are brilliant, in fact in fortnite using 75% gpu its 38C.

Yes its my build and thanks very much.

The mugen is just out of the box fitted, had to take the top of my mem sticks off (using the teamgroup) to allow for secondary fan for push and pull.

The gap is probs less than 1mm but the gap is there.

Anyone know if slim fans can be mounted as exhaust on the top panel? I know the QD fan cages are designed with normal 120mm fans in mind, only because I have a SFX-L PSU and have read the issues with the top front fan clearance.

pc_part_picker have a new NR200 build made by Yoshikan5037
He uses the Noctua NH-C14S cooler.

Thanks, when you say you had the remove the RAM heat spreaders do you mean to the rear of the cooler or the front?

Edit - looks like you reversed the cooler so the rear of the cooler is at the front of the case so it over hangs the ram slots, assume this is so you could fit two fans otherwise it would be too close to the rear

ok so someone on reddit was able to fit an Arctic liquid freezer II 240
Hmm, just thought of another way to make it fit with the GPU horizontal. Could use Noctua 15mm thin fans, instead of 25mm P12's that are on the radiator by default. That should clear enough space in comparison to the NZXT AIOs.

There was a post on Reddit by someone who has done this. But the standard pegs don't work for slim fans. And the screws weren't gripping the grommets tightly enough to ensure the fans wouldn't simply fall down. Their solution was to remove the top panel mesh, and seat the fans between the plastic frame and the mesh, screwing them in to the rubber grommets.

Have a search on r/SFFPC.
