The topic is a minefield but I can't believe in 2020 people still hold very black and white viewpoints such as "Let them all in but check for the bad ones" vs "Send them all back, they're all wronguns, just look at these stats". Then you've got people who legally immigrated here being thrown into the mix to try and prove a point

The only negative impact it has is on the racists and the poor.
Canada is a promoter of immigration and they are a much more prosperous country than us within a few decades without the horrible history.
All you will ever see is negatives. You have already made a stake in the ground and drawn a line.
Canada has a smaller economy...despite being geographically much larger.
It's also a former British colony which by your logic means it should still be stuck in the dark ages.

It's a growing country.
Give it 5-10 years and they will be light years ahead of us.
Look at where they were in the 60's and 70's they were nothing.
In a few decades they will come over here just to laugh at us.

Canada has a different kind of immigration by ethnicity
They have no issues with letting people in it seems and they see immigration as key to their countries future.
They have a decent system in place. The UK does not thanks to the EU.
Basically any criminal can come here from any other eu country.
Canada has a brilliant system in place and it's a much nicer place to be than here as a result.
There is no this is my land mentality. Or go back to where you came from like it is here.
It's also 100 times better than America yet has all the good things that America has with very little of the bad.

If the uk had a 10% German population bringing additional wealth only letting those in who could sustain themselves etc im pretty sure we wouldnt have the same kind of crime culture that we do now.
I lived in Toronto for a year so I'm quite aware of the situation out there.

Not really.
I don't think we stole £45 trillion or massacred tens of millions for a start.
Or forced mass immigration which in turn killed several millions more and forced millions into even more poverty.
It's a different scenario because they never encountered millions of coloured folk to exploit.
You only post and misrepresent 'facts' based on your own biases. No one is attacking you, you just don't like being challenged or being confronted about your beliefs on immigration.

That only the Germans are making Canada great.
Nothing to do with the 12% Asian immigration which is greater than the 10% master race.
