Could be worse. You could have pre-ordered an EVGA like me. They stopped taking pre-orders almost right away and didn't even try to sell EVGA 3090s.. By the time it actually arrives I'll just say "make it a 4080" and wait another 2 years. :p

Looking on line it looks like that’s because EVGA decided to not release the cards with the potentially dodgy capacitor config, they then had to remake a load of new ones to the more robust spec, and that caused delays

It's not a good day to be in the 3080 queue...

For the love of God this whole situation is finally starting to break my patience.

I check this thread again to read about queue jumping? Dreadful.

My 1100 unofficial will be going to 1500 soon then....

OCUK - you really need to straighten up this queue jumping issue. Either your staff have been misinformed or we have. Either way I am sure you can see why people would not be happy.

@Gibbo, if Ferrari were delivering 3 cars into the UK and you had been waiting 6 months for yours, you’d be somewhat aggrieved if a guy who ordered a Lambo 7 month ago decided he wanted a Ferrari after all and took your place in the queue, bumping you out so you then had to wait another 6 months whilst he was driving around in the nice new Ferrari that had been reserved for you. You’d be even more annoyed if the same thing happened 6 months later.

Hopefully you can see why that would give people pause for thought. With any luck its just a misunderstanding by us poor forum hacks rather than by OCUK staff, but it would be great if you could clear the situation up for us. Thanks

You can then make sure all staff are following the correct procedure ie no Queue jumping between cards.

I did read that too. But they already solved it for the later review models even last week so.. Should have seen something by now. At any rate, OCUK shut down the pre-orders pretty quick and stopped EVGA 3090s going out at all.. That would suggest they know something more.. The preorders were stopped before the admission of the capacitor issue.

This explains why I got pushed 200 places up the queue, that's disgusting.

It wouldn't, since the unofficial calculator doesn't take these things into account, just as it doesn't take cancellations, etc, into account.

The position will have changed because more people submitted their info to the spreadsheet that were ordering the same card as you, and likely before you, which it couldn't take into account before they'd submitted it.

It's already been confirmed that the unofficial calculator is well out of what the actual position is anyway, since someone was saying they were in the 300s in the queue for their card on the calculator, but OCUK told them they were actually around 90-100 in the queue.

My biggest regret is having sold my 1080ti card and now i dont have the 3080. And no idea when it will come!
I feel you mate. I sold my 2070 Super a week before 3080 launch. I regret that decision so much right now :-(
Ditto I sold my 1070 and now I'm rocking a GT710!

Seems we are all in the same boat

I sold my 1080ti a week before the announcement..... iv been rocking a GTX660 and its killing me I can only play games that are literally 10 years old or indie titles .....

What’s that from? It makes sense MSI would delay, as I posted previously, if they are redesigning the capacitor layout.

It's on Twitter. It's funny, they say the shipment scheduled for next week is still on track but I'm very doubtful and like you expect it's related to last minute board changes.

Annoying though that would be, I think I’d rather wait another couple of weeks and know i’m getting one of the redesigned boards. Would be hilarious if someone swapped to an MSI card and ended up getting one of the older cards and pushed me back to getting a redesigned one :)

Just spoke with someone at OC and he was nice enough to say that they are releasing the official que either today or tomorrow and he advise that we will get an email advising if we are included in the next batch of cards going out. Also the que thing was confirmed to be a thing where you can jump the que and switch orders whenever which i didnt agree with.

Did anyone today got any of the small shipment of TUF OC?
Don't think so not seen anything, I was really hoping to get one since on the unofficial calculator which yes I know is inaccurate but at least gives u some idea. Going by my order number I'm 5th but going by my order time I'm 16, very weird I know, no idea why. But still very low either way so was really keeping my fingers crossed.
