Mining profits are in the toilet so that just leaves gamers, the majority of which are not stupid enough to pay £500 for a 3060. This keeps up, prices will continue to drop.

Down on there as well, month a go 3060ti was going for £1100 and more, much lower now as with all GPUs on there.

If its like some of the enthusiasts on tech forums,we are screwed! People are literally defending poor releases and poor prices - I really don't understand why people need to choose the "lesser of two evils" when sometimes not choosing is the best move. Have we learnt nothing from 2018 and Turing being released after it?

Broadly it's just supply and demand. Supply is actually up (they shipped more GPUs than ever in 2021) but demand is also up, from normal consumers and miners.

So specifically it's how much we want GPUs given how bored we've been, and how much miners want(ed?) GPUs.
