It’s coming soon. It comes in 6 waves. 1st one in March last one in 2023.
Was a couple of decent games on the direct to look forward to, im a little gutted we arent getting mario kart 9, but i suppose the extra tracks will make up for it a little, would have personally preferred a whole new game though
xc3 looked wicked and will prob be buying it, i havent played the second one though, is the second game decent? as heard mixed things about it.
Splatoon 3 is a defo for me as well as love playing splatoon 2 online, great fun
Also think i will be picking up kirby as that looks ace, hopefully its as good as the gameplay trailers make it out to be

I loved S2 online but you lot on here are so antisocial we never got any OcUK games going.
I would have liked a refresh of the handling, speed, items, kart builds, and advanced techniques as I perfected MK8 a long time ago.
Maybe add new features such as burning items for a mini boost, or having items with a risk/reward system or give every track some risky shortcuts.

Oi lol ive only had my switch oled for around a month lol did you try to get some games going then at some point? again im not great at splatoon 2 but do love it, i mostly play a little defensive but do push up sometimes
I really enjoyed it but it starts slow and the battle system takes a long time to fully grasp but when you do it feels excellent. I'd recommend watching tutorials online about the battle system if you pick it up, the game isn't great at it. You also have to look past a lot of proper weeby stuff when it comes to the blades/companions and the story is very anime as well, though not to dissimilar to most RPGs.

I reached top rank in Splatoon 2 in all 3 ranked modes, but I really don't mind who I play with in terms of skill.
I guess the lack of party chat ruins some of the teamwork/community.
Thanks for reply, mmmmm maybe i might give it a miss if the battle system is hard to get your head around, i might get a bit stressed out playing and these days i just like a fun stress free gaming experience lol

i dont think im even rank 10 yet though lol i have 8 games for my switch and have done a little on all of them, between life, switch and pc im finding it hard to complete anything these daysAlso i dont game for long sessions anymore, must be old age but after an hr or 2 my mind goes out of the game and i need a break
You know I was also thinking what's the difference between a MK9 and MK8 with new tracks but you're right, things could have been changed up. Interesting to see the other side.
Personally I haven't played it to death so from my point of view more tracks is all I'd want from MK9. By going with dlc you at least retain one player base (ish) and access to old favourites while adding more variety.
There is plenty they could have done (and will eventually do) in MK9 but I agree, MK8 is polished to hell. Shows off just how amazing the graphics can be on a console like the Switch.
Really looking forward to the new tracks, just a shame they are going to be coming out over such a long period. None of them are new are they? All remasters of old tracks.

Really, if thats true thats really sad but not surprising. I thought Nintendo had actually put their customers first for once.
It's a fun multiplayer game that I played previously with friends and family on the Wii that I felt needed a well overdue revamped edition on the Switch. Very happy with what I saw and look forward to June.
Are you sure about that? What gives you that impression? Surely they would be high quality for Switch and then scaled down or separate for Tour.
A lot of the first batch of tracks are directly taken from Tour. The ones that aren’t have a similar fidelity.
If you don’t notice then don’t go looking for it, but they are a massive step down in quality.
