? You're missing my whole point - in a world war, the internet wouldn't work. Turn off your home router, or turn off mobile data on your phone. Try load a website - it won't load. This is what will happen to you if you're in a country that's being invaded in a world war.

Not really true. The entire concept of the internet was to provide robust communication network within a nuclear war, with the specific ability to send nuclear launch codes to missile silos even when most cities and hubs are taken out.

Peripheral WWW infra, is susceptible (e.g bombing an AWS data centre), but the basic internet is robost, certainly within a continent.

Right, but you conflated a million people marching against the Iraq invasion with over 2000 being arrested in Russia. There was no mention of how many people were protesting in Russia, just those detained.

It's a false equivalency.
