My iPad Air only does 60hz, I feel like i'll hate the Air if/when I upgrade.

This is the downside of having a 120hz phone. You will get used to that smoothness and any other device you have that isn't 120hz will feel worse. You'll just have to buy an iPad Pro and MacBook Pro to get the holy trinity of 120hz :D

I am going to the US shortly but realised that it's e-sim only there. Does anyone know if that would mean we get no support here? Or do you reckon it's better to go with a hardware sim still?

Received my Leather Case today...definitely a bigger camera cut-out/lip than before when comparing the two cases.

Still on track to receive my Pro on Friday.

In theory it should be fine as most mobile operators now have e-sim as an option. Obviously the only concern would be mobile bands but iPhones have always had the full UK frequencies available.

Apple really screwed up with the camera. They made just a big booha about a newer higher megapixel sensor but didn't bother given it a proper lens upgrade.

I've seen comparisons and it's pathetic, it's almost impossible to tell iPhone 13 pro and 14 pro photos apart and the 14 is no better at zoomed in photos, they still have a lot more noise and blur than Samsungs

All of the marketing is about better low light performance. I didn’t hear them mention about improvements to the well lit photos.

To be honest, I’d just buy a U.K. phone.

Putting aside potential issues with warranty/support etc, You need to look very carefully at the frequencies it supports to make sure they work in the U.K./Europe.

US phones are built for the US market and they can be different, particularly due to the new sat feature.

Said I wasn’t going to bother with a new iPhone, my 11 has literally just started messing up, restarts every 5 minutes. Tried everything, reset, complete factory restore its ******* :(

So, 14 pro 128GB deep purple has been ordered.
