I think like ever its a bit top trumps, since what factors specifically you post most weight to in regards the best and being far ahead

For example when I googled, the top was listed as Trident 2, with Russian missiles being placed 2nd and 3rd and another US one 4th.

Its pretty irrelevant however, they are all massively destructive, hard to intercept etc

I suspect (as is the case for the US nuclear program) that many countries are looking at / starting upgrading and replacing their ICBM's in-line with spinning up production of new nuclear pits in an effort to maintain (and retain) the required knowledge to build, service and operate Nuclear Weapons and their ICBMs.

They are all replacing the current weapons systems becuase Russia has and it’s been a cat and mouse game for years . Nothing new really been going on since the start of the Cold War.
 
what's so funny about staying indoors? the blast wouldn't take down my house as I live miles away from a city and I have stocks of food so maybe I would survive, id rather die trying than give up.

Perhaps they should have used them then in 1982. We would all be writing Cyrillic script now. The thing with ICBM's is that both sides have them. Yours might arrive marginally ahead of your enemy's missiles but not fast enough to catch them in silos and definitely not under the ocean. You would equally be toast.

If we were clearly heading for a strategic nuclear weapons exchange with Russia then I would load up my car with a tent, camping equipment, good food, booze, any illegal narcotics I could source and head for Fylingdales Air Force base. I'd camp out as close to there as I was allowed and wait for it to get vapourized with a thermonuclear weapon. Fylingdales would be the first place the Russkies nuke in the UK because it is the early warning station for ICBMs fired from European Russia at targets on the east coast of the USA. RAF Menwith Hill is another one up here which Putin would go after early doors, as it houses a key part of the US Department of Defense's ECHELON global military communications interception system.

Unless you're a protected member of the Royal Family or the government (long-term bunker dweller) then you won't want to be alive in England after WW3 because it's such a small country with so many nuclear weapons targeted at it that the environment would be so contaminated with fallout that you'd be dead of cancer or aplastic anaemia within a couple of years of the attack even if you could shelter underground for 2 weeks during the bombing. If you are rich and want to live then get a boat and start sailing to sub-Saharan Africa or South America shortly before the nukes start dropping. There will be far less fallout in those areas and their proximity to the equator should mean you could still grow enough food to survive a nuclear winter.

I'm skeptical about most things, why would I believe any particular countries government, I don't know of any that truly care about their own people.

So explain the Ukrainian situation as you see it again and why you came to that conclusion, ie evidence etc
