Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Are Arsenal still trying to demand something crazy like 5 years payment terms?
That's the sticking point yes, they wanna spread payment of the fee equally over the course of the contract whereas west ham wanted more upfront. I would assume arsenal haven't budged from which is why seat ham have thrown this all give us it all within 18 months counter.

Man Utd's final insult by asking David De Gea, not to join a rival club. :o

So he'll be off to Chelsea, no doubt have the game of his career against Utd

Szoboszlai to Liverpool all but done, baring a medical, acording to journalists.

Don't know anything about him but we're making signings in midfield so yay.

Edit: Only thing I am concerned about is, signing more midfielders might mean Trent stays at RB which would be a big mistake, he's too infleuncal in midfield and should be starting there now.

You didn't sign him, I was as questioning the statement that all of ten hags signings have fit in well. Besides Antony 'cost' more :p
So how would you rate Nunez in his first season given that he was being compared to Haaland at the start of the season lmao.

Only idiots were comparing him to Haaland. I think Carra went on a mad one at the start of the season as he didn’t believe Haaland would adapt as quickly as he did but very few pundits were comparing the two directly.

That was the narrative being peddled around at the start of the season if I remember correctly. I mean obviously in hindsight you’d have to be mentally ill to be comparing the 2, I mean he scored 5 more goals than Antony in English competitions and he’s supposed to be a striker.

This is honestly the sort of thing a 6 year old would write.

Someone said that all of ETH's signings have fitted in well. Someone else queried that by raising Anthony. You jumped in with a point wholly irrelevant to the situation.

No, Nunez hasn't fitted in brilliantly, and I query whether he is going to get a look in next season as Gakpo, Jota and Diaz are all likely to be preferred in his best two positions. But what on earth has that got to do with Man Utd?

I'd give him a 'c' personally, needs to calm down a fair bit in front of goal - positive signs in that he is getting into goal scoring opportunities though.
What do you make of Antony? Flop of the season for me (mudryk would get that honour if he had signed in the summer)

I’d rate him the same. Still got much to learn but plenty of promise.

You could literally write exactly that for Antony.
