Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Top 6 don’t really do this though. Out of the top 6, what’s the last player you can remember that’s cost less than £20m who’s now worth mega millions?

Rashford cost nothing. Greenwood the same and he would have been a super star. Both 100 million players in today's market.

This was always our ace up our sleeve in 90's and the reason why we could spend big numbers in the 90's when half our outfield team cost nothing.

You’ve misunderstood, I’m not talking about youth players, otherwise I’d have included Saka. I’m talking about the top 6 buying cheap players in the last 10 years that go on to be worth mega millions.

I think Tierney fits better, but the Timber injury might have put a block on that now

I think he's the least likely because neither Chelsea / Arsenal won't want to loan us the players (which is the only way I think we can afford them) but if Chelsea happen to pull off the Lavia and Caicedo, they'll probably be more likely to take a deal with an obligation to buy next summer.

I think Howe would prefer Tierney though.

Cucurella to Newcastle is heating up.

Either we lost our dam minds or Eddie will make a world beater again!!
Can’t see Chelsea sending us Cucurella TBH, I would prefer him over Tierney though due to constant injuries and he looked a player at Brighton

Ooooo Looks like Celtic want Ryan Frazer. If we manage to get him off the books that would be amazing
If we could get Frazer, Hendrick and Hayden out that this summer that would be excellent business and would also allow us i big signing either late in the window or when the January window opens.

See Neymar has gone to Saudi Arabia. What a waste of a career he's had after that start. Could have easily been one of the all time greats but spent most of it partying and playing in farmer's leagues.
Thing is you'll never be the star of a team with Messi in it. He never was. And you'll never win the Ballon D'or while Messi is still playing competitively either.

Big wages for the Frazer and Hendrick because we signed on free’s…..

I can see Frazer accepting a pay cut because of Euros (maybe)

Craig Burley's rant on ESPN was the best thing I've heard on this transfer. "He can take his circus and join that circus and they can have one big circus" lol

I'd let the three go for nowt tbh
Impacts on FFP though as the remaining contracts of the 3 comes off in 1 hit, and I’m pretty sure both Fraser and Hendrick have 2 years left on their contracts(not sure about Hayden), Loans with wages paid by the new team is the best outcome for all 3 as I doubt we could bring in money for them.

edit: just to clarify, Hayden has 3 years left, Fraser 2 and Hendrick 1. Shipping out all 3 would save just over £5m per year on wages

Never really understood the Cucurella hype tbh, he's probably better than putting Burn there all season though. Burn needs shifting to LCB really. Does Target want out?
