Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

Just rubs me the wrong way companies selling over the RRP. What makes them better than scalpers in this case? Lol.

Yeh, I would definitely be more leaning toward a 4080 rather than paying 2x as much for the 4090 at this point!

They raised the price £60 quid to £1579 and when people found out they flew off the shelves and so now unavailable. They should have kept them at £1520 and we'd still be able to buy them.

And because of the "exchange rate" the 4090 Suprim went up £200 a few weeks ago and a further £100 last night

These are the same people who said the 4090 was overpriced and would hardly sell?

There’s only 10 people with results on 3D Mark in Jersey that have a 4090, and only 3 with a 7900 XTX. I know not everyone uses 3D Mark but that’s not many. Jersey population about 100,000
 
If a good deal pops up for a 4080 during black friday, then I'd upgrade from my 3080Ti... otherwiseI'm waiting for the 5k's
