Yeah I can't understand that with single player, replaying when you already know what's gonna happen spoils it , it just repetitive doing the same thing again and again , I loved the last of us and red dead 2 but wouldn't replay them again when I already know what happens now

Online against real humans I'll keep coming back
I'm on my second playthrough, at about 170hrs so far. I'm the same, I'll finish a single player game then that's it, but CP has so many decisions and different paths, sidequests you miss if you don't do XYZ, the world and vibe is just fun to be in... I just wish it wasn't such a Nvidia benchmark because it's a really great game. Not for everyone, mind.

Saying that I only started playing after 2.0 update, by all accounts it was barely playable for years.

for city folk maybe most people I know have 30mbs but once you have others in the household streaming youtube

it is annoying as down the road you can get 1000mbs but sadly not here yet
Not sure where you think I am, I know it says Stoke on Trent under my name but Im just outside of Stoke on Trent which is miles away from the city, the Potteries is made up of so many towns you wouldnt believe it.

I have 1GB internet in my town of 25K population (S-O-T has over 250K Population). Im sure USwitch aint making up figures on their website though. Maybe you live in the sticks somewhere but most people dont.

Anyways going off topic too much.

9070XT over £500 and I wait, if 9070 is around £400 I'll probs just buy one of those instead, gotta be a decent jump from my 3060Ti and no way am I being the only gamer left here running one of those, that position is reserved for @CAT-THE-FIFTH :D

Easy - how much do you value the extra time gaming on the new card?

If you don't have a card or are using a stop gap, then paying 20 quid a month (four pints?) for an extra 3 or 4 months might be totally worth it.

If not, then as I said above, no harm in waiting!
Now I was thinking of just waiting let the dust settle and the prices adjust (or maybe some free games get added).
But the thought then occurred to me that that's the approach I took with the 9800X3D and as a result I've still not bought one as I don't think they've even got back to MSRP let alone dropped under it.
I know CPUs and GPUs are different as there's probably more competition for one, but maybe that's not the way it's going to go now? Maybe the 9070 launch prices will be the cheapest we see the cards for a while?

12GB would have been an issue with some of them,so either way it wouldn't be worth it. Either I don't bother running them or I run them fully. Just like some people want to spend almost £1000 to PT,I don't really care if the RT is set down to medium from high. Moreover, the only game I had issues with was Cyberpunk 2077. It is only one of three games with any degree of RT I bothered to play in any massive way in the last 4 years. I play more of games like Valhelm and Enshrouded.

But it is also an example of how,in the end the big theoretical performance boost in RT doesn't last. One update and all the RTX3060TI/RTX3070 owners run out of RT performance and VRAM. I spent all of £370 in four years, minus the previous card I sold.

The difference is the Pixel 8 Pro will cost less than your phone,as I can sell my old one to. But I now also have a back-up phone if I don't bother.

You say that until that sweet PT lures you in!
Am i in th wrong thread?

PIXEL 8!!!

I must hold out and not buy a 7900XT yet
The prices have been creeping up, cards have been selling out and stock of older gen have been clearing out, if you want a 7900XT, buy one soon before you no longer can at a decent price.

I literally had a dream about the launch of these GPUs before waking up lol. In the dream, most retailers were pricing near RRP, but one of them was trying it on pre-scalping to $900 and nobody was buying from them

Hopefully none of these shenanigans happen for real and there's enough stock.

It's because I play it to be in that world in a sense, I don't really care about the story. That's why it's almost entirely about the atmosphere & why I like open world games so much. I stopped playing multiplayer games a very long time ago, I prefer to do that irl instead, there's a better payoff.

Wait what? ... processes this for a second. Yes still. WHAT? Are you referring to stuff like the transit system; or the extra nail options (which actually is almost enough to get me to replay it! - they _nailed_ that one!). You obviously can't be referring to Phantom Liberty, one of the best expansions of all time and almost a fulfillment of the original promise.
To me PL didn't do anything for the aspects of the game I care for and even cheapens the latter portions of the main story because you see scenarios played out again in a similar fashion. There's a lot more to it but I went off-topic enough.

At this point the only way to not succeed, assuming there is no glaring hardware fault, is too price it too high. So long as they look good compared to the 550 and 750 mspr of the 5070s they are onto a winner. Surely, suuuuurely after a delay that the only thing they told us it was about was "to get the price right" they will know this and get it right.

 £799 for the XT, pre-scalped for your convenience
