*** Car Wash / Valet / Detailing Thread ***

That seems good two 1.1/1.2mm nozzles for different power outputs on pressure washers - mjjc&my polar don't have that - 1.2mm;
I'm wondering if those bottles (not hdpe?) would be compatible with polar I have - would still like a 2nd bottle one for pre, one for shampoo.

weekend made some karcher experiments - current 15mm/30m hoze drops house flow for 10L water from 24s(short/3m hoze i created)->44s,
washer/k7 was working fine with either turbo or blade attachments, but pulsing with foam bottle

Spent the weekend giving the new wheels a couple of coats of Gyeon Rim Evo.

I have a tired old Nilfisk washer from 2012 from looking at my amazon history!

I'm looking at replacements and before I push the button on an AVA P45/P55 does anyone have any other recommendations? I will only use it for the car and like the 40ft soft hose on the AVA's as well as the specs.

The AVA stuff is nice and don’t think I’d look at anything else now :)

Got an Evo P60.

I have an AVA Go P55. Got it on a 50% off deal I think. Much better than the Vax and Karchers I've had before.

I've wasted much of the day so far looking at reviews and youtube tests etc. I was initially looking at the P45/55 GO but I want 10-12m of hose and the Easy P50 looks more right for me..

12m hose. I then thought about after market foam canon and gun but most of the reviews seem to say the AVA foam canon is pretty good, did you find it fine? I then wouldn't need any additional extras. Looked at the Karcher K4 but that needs a ton of extras to do what I want.

is chassis wash/wheel arches a need - Later added a long right angled lance with Karcher
(... however the arches on Audi I now have, are some inferior fibrous material difficult to clean, but noise reducing whilst they survive
could poke it through barrels of wheels hmmh haven't tried that yet , but maybe too much water near callipers/sensors. )

No it’s pants IMO. I’ve used cheaper ones which have been better

Thankfully it uses the Karcher attachment so you can get a lot of cheap lances which are decent.

this is my foam cannon there are many like it but this one is mine ... Without my pressure washer, cannon is useless. Without my cannon, the car is dirty

Tear-down last night, couldn't find any blockage causing pulsing ... hadn't realised there would be a metal gauze tablet inside , that can get gunked
there was hellish loctite on the threads.

Found this for a grand total of £7.51 including delivery. Reviews seem good too.
Is ordering from Ali express ok?

Iv got a nilfisk.( Can't remember the model. It's a good few years old) .

I have a snowfoam attachment lance attachment that I think either came with it or i got from somewhere.

I watched a YouTube video saying that out of all the cannons, they didn't like a lot of them, moved them to one side , they had 3 really good ones. I think autoglym was a reccomended one. Not sure if it would work on my nilfisk I'd have to check

If there is a decent cannon out there for £10-20 of rather pay that then £40-50?

You just need the adapter for it to fit a Nilfisk. I paid a few quid on Amazon. The Nilfisk snow foam attachment is absolutely pants.
