Yes unless you undervolt or up the fan speed it'll throttle. My temps are around 75c out of the box on a heaven benchmark run and it hits around 85c when I upped the power limit +50, is this normal?

Lol, I just upped the fans to full blast and it gave me a little shock but now it keeps it around 65c.
It's loud, properly loud at full wack.
I have mine in a cupboard, cant hear the 6 fans on the rad, 3 case fans and the cards... going to change the tim though as it might be a while before i get an AIO for it as there is nowt good out yet.
New PB on overclock earlier, 7180 Graphics for timespy and a 22742 graphics for firestrike - all only at 1000mhz ram, i know it will do 1100 so there is more to come.
I can hear mine from almost every room in the house if I put it up full wack. Did make me smile, sounds like a jet engine somewhere in the house
Anyone found the best noise to performance overclock?
i think ive got used to the blower fan now, ive found i dont notice any noise when idle and gaming my speakers drown out any fan noise
There was a bug that if you set both p6 and p7 to the same clocks it wouldn't go higher than p5. Dunno if they fixed that.Well finally decided to buy Vega 56.
Set power to +45%, set both P6 and P7 to 1025 and OC memory to 900 (there was barely any difference from 950). Firestrike graphics score of 22k. Temps on the run are around 74c whilst hot spot is around 85 (should I look at main temps or hot spot?).
Whilst playing Divinity 2 (great game) the fan is a bit of an odd one, it is silent but then ramps up for a minute and then quiets down again, as if temps are no stable and sometimes the fan needs high RPMs to control and sometimes not
Also, you guys know what that red blue on off thing all about? It doesn't light up for me?
