i just picked up a 660p 2tb nvme for £200. was going to get another mx500 2tb sata til I saw these are the same price, yet quicker in every metric. Bottom end of the nvme performance barrel, but, £100 per TB. get in.

yes it will....but they put the price up £15 today on 3200Mhz +£20 on the 3600mhz good stuff ready for the Ryzen gouging.
Don't buy. Prices are driven by demand on market, if they ripping you off go buy elsewhere. I was ready to buy another 16GB of 8pack 3600 MHz, yesterday it was at £150 today at £170 by the time Ryzen is in shops it will be back to £200 where it's been sitting for the last 2 years. If it stays this way I'll sell my 16GB and buy 32GB cheaper somewhere else - there are plenty of options out there.

Aye, but the X570 mid range board pack better VRMs, and that extra CPU power connector that most X370, and X470 boards are missing.

So the PBO might still allow the processor to boost higher on X570s

Although; just a week more before we hopefully get all the details.
I really doubt anyone here will feel the need to use more than an 8 pin. I have a C7Hero which according to Buildzoid has a massively overkill VRM, so Im not worried about PBO. But depending on the mobo, some people will be more limited than others, thats for sure.

Aye, Buildzoid said those 8pins are able to supply 384W on it's own - so definitely no need for any more additional 4/8 pin connectors. :)

didn't, in one of his videos, he mention that was worst case? i.e. the poorest quality 8 pin connector that barely meets the standard, and the lowest gauge PSU cable? I can't remember if he ever mentioned a range, or best case, but I'm assuming ~400-450W?

Why is info on the CH8 hero so light?

Glad to see my board able to handle the 16 core , was doubting it's ability and VRM setup but the list has at least validated no issues. Hopefully means the 12core with a hearty OC isn't out the question

So what's 8 packing on about, Ryzen 3700x in a B350 F Strix mobo with 16gb 2x 8gb 3200mhz and overclock the lot, surely that'll work???

Just to add, I literally want the CPU to drop into my already built PC, simply replacing the 1600.
