What film did you watch last night?

Megalopolis. 3 / 10.
Coppola certainly lost the plot with this one. I've no meaningful idea what the film was about or the message it was trying to convey aside from some convoluted nonsense about living for today and not in the tomorrow.
Only saving grace was Aubrey Plaza being highly suggestive.
Apparently he also lost a shed load ($120m) of his own money as well.

Didn't they release it on bluray in 1080p? what did that look like?
Ouch. Does the Blu Ray look bad then? I've only got the dvd.

The BR looks the same afaik. I checked the Amazon stream the other night, same as well.

I'd imagine the 4k release being spoke about is going to use some upscaling shenanigans (AI?) to try and improve the quality....not that i have any knowledge about these sort of things!

I really think this is something that's worth getting onto them about to seek clarification

65 - Sci-fi set on earth when the big asteroid hit. Not bad, quite cheesy etc, 6/10.

My Old Ass - Aubrey Plaza is in it I think she's great, coming of age sentimental time travel drama, not bad, 6/10.

I really liked both 28 days/weeks films, though I prefer the first overall.

Good to see those soldiers get their comeuppance!

No it was shot on the canon X-1 which is the problem as it was the first digital camera. Apparently they can't really upscale it to any beneficial degree.

Only way would be a content aware AI much more advanced than anything we have now - though nVidia is progressing there with an AI which can identify a large number of objects in a scene and recreate a scene from a video in 3D.
