What film did you watch last night?

I keep meaning to watch that, but i always find Kate Winslet trying to be American distracting.
Agree, you do forget about it after the first couple of scenes though.

I’ve been meaning to watch it for ages too, would recommend giving it a go, nothing Oscar worthy but interesting enough.

If you’re into the subject of war photography, watch McCullin.

I've been fascinated by people nutty enough to be war photographers ever since i watched full metal jacket (and also got hooked on kubrick - that guy really was efficient in making gateway drug films. lol)

You've probably seen it, but The Killing Fields is another good film about war journalism.
I have, but you know it's one that I've been meaning to re-watch for a while. it's a fantastic film. I've got bugger all going on today and tomorrow, I'm not convinced a full day of that kind of genre would be the call but a couple each evening could be a cracking way to fill the time out.

This, by the way, is why I completely understand some film makers being completely precious about filming with traditional 35mm. i get it. I enjoy using my traditional SLR cameras precisely because I think having a limited amount of exposures forces me to consider my composition. There's certainly a place for digital photography but...Film looks better on celluloid I think. The recent 4k release they did of Laurence of Arabia looks superb.

Ouch. Does the Blu Ray look bad then? I've only got the dvd.
I've just been er...acquiring a remux - it's not...Great
