I love the way they've simply done away with it. I also love the way the MMI controller rises up out of the dash.
Have driven an auto in the US with the selector on a stalk and that didn't feel right. Think the twirly knob thing is cool though
Thats because they use those great big stupid handles on US cars, they should have gone with a slim wand, like an indicator stalk like the old Rolls's had.
Good motor the Q5, went in a friends 2 weeks back for a short drive and was impressed, though at over 40k for a 2l TDi i think overpriced, but nice to be in and comfy too.
