I can't believe how poorly the game runs with CrossFire enabled. It's pretty shocking tbh. I have been playing with the settings and at fullscreen without CrossFire, I'm getting 45 FPS, at the exact same location with the exact same settings and Crossfire enabled, I get 22FPS. How does that work?!

I believe crossfire isn't working with it yet

Some Screens with my own slightly altered sweetfx after the 1.3 patch. Can't believe how good this game looks, it's no doubt they had to downgrade, any better looking than this and it simply wouldn't have run at a decent frame rate.

I know we've seen plenty of shots already, but really pleased how the game is taking shape now, it's starting to look so much better. And with this big patch in the works, things can only get better.

Done some more testing, it's not stuttering when walking or running but it is when using the horse! It's jerky and very stuttery, it frame skips with every step :(

Anyone else? ( Full screen mode )

Other than that it's not dropping below 60fps at all

You don't have that PSU on eco at all do you m8? We have pretty much the exact same setup now after the advice you gave me on the 980 and the superflower and I get no stuttering at all, which is pretty damn weird tbh.

Played a bit more and I don't think the game is for me, will give it a few hours more though but I'm just finding there to be too much and the menu/ui isn't helping matters, at least for me anyway :p

Graphics wise, I am hoping that we see a big improvement with the next patch especially some hd textures, some scenes look really good but a lot of the time, it just looks very poor imo, can't get over how bad the water looks, I like the night sky though!

EDIT:

ECO mode on the superflower is only for the fan iirc i.e. the fan will only spin when required

I am also getting stutter Neil despite having 50+ FPS most of the time, frame latency is usually about 15-20ms which is very smooth for me but for some reason it can jump to 35 and even as high as 100 at times.

My cpu usage is crap too :(

Are you crazy nex, game looks insane for a huge open world game. And those shadows, incredible. posted some shots above of my sweetfx dude, you wanna give em a go?

And no stutter for me anywhere but I have vsyncd mine to 60 with all details on high. Had to drop em from ultra, it's way to much on 1 7950 at 1440 for 60fps. Come on amd, get a damn move on with a crossfire driver lol.

Sorry to ask but how have you enabled DSR with SLI?

I have been using DSR with SLI for around a year, first with my 780 Ti's and now 980's.

Didn't do anything special, in the Nvidia control panel SLI is on and under 3D settings I can set the DSR settings as I want. Haven't done a clean install on my GPU drivers for well over a year. Every driver that's come out (beta and WHQL) has been installed over the top without any issues at all.

I know :o, waiting on skylake! Still does a nice/decent job considering how old it is though, if only mantle was in all these new games or better yet dx 12!!!!

You are really asking me that after seeing what my gta 5 character looks like? :D :D :D

But yes, some parts are extremely good looking but overall compared to the shadow of mordor and gta 5, I just find the graphics to be very meh (granted those 2 games aren't anywhere as big) and the game world a bit bland imo, maybe I need to get further in?

I also have vsync on, will try setting a FPS limit of 59 to see if that stops the stutter, like neil, it seems to happen more often when on the horse.

And yeah upload your sweetfx files please :D

AMD and crossfire support.... please!!!! :p :(
