My 980ti flicker once, every now and again but it is pretty rare. Im using DisplayPort on a non g-sync ultra wide. I see it perhaps once every day at most.. the release driver seems better for me that the g-sync hotfix driver in this regard.

Thanks! The mouse was free as part of the promo, I bought the mouse pad.

I am deciding to cancel my preorder 980ti hybrid and just get Titan X or not hehehe

If you have the means to do it and don't mind paying more then as Dicehunter and I discussed a few pages back there really aren't any drawbacks to having a Titan X over a 980 Ti.

The only one for me would be that the Titan X runs hot with it's stock cooler but that's easily solved using a more aggressive fan profile. Plus, as I chose to go EVGA if I decide I'd like to remove the stock cooler and get the Hybrid version it won't void the warranty.

Is it a hard task to retrofit the Hybrid cooler to an EVGA card? Also is it only possible to fit it to an EVGA card?

I'm considering the same thing.

No it's not hard at all (simple instructions).

It fits on all TXs as they are the same PCB.

ive been waiting for nearly two weeks for this 980ti stock to improve but the either of the evga ones or msi one is never in stock and im not persuaded to pre-order based on some of the feedback ive been reading.

Titan X in stock but is one enough to run 3440x1440 near max no AA?? I dont know anymore

ah yeah i remember talking to you about this dess. you were getting 40 fps in witcher 3 or something like that? is that playable/smooth for you though?

problem is I dont want to get one titan x then having to get another because one isnt enough. if thats the case then id rather wait for 980ti sli even if i have to stick with a 660 for a few weeks...

In your position I'd got for the SLI 980ti.
I'm happy as mine is right now. But I do plan to get another Titan X in the next 2 or 3 months. (Will probably get drunk tonight and order another knowing me!)
