**14 DAYS SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!**

Had trouble getting items returned in the past and as such I've taken the bulk of my business elsewhere. This is a great move by OcUK and you may get my money back because of it.

So hang on...

In the past few months I've returned 2 faulty motherboards to OCuk.

Are you saying I'm entitled to get the postage it cost me to send them back to OCUK, refunded?

Yes.

Not under the DSR though, the DSR is where you're not comfortable with something after seeing it in person. If it's faulty then of course you're entitled to a refund.

Fantastic Move OcUK!

Does this include things in problematic packaging?
Like them daft plastic shells that you need to generally destroy in order to open?

Yes, we ask customers to do their best and return the product in the same condition you recieved it in. But sometimes the packaging does get destroyed in opening the product and we understand this and as such you just need to package it well enough to prevent courier damage when returned back to us. :)

Yes, they can not insist you return the item in its original packaging. Basically you can use it for a few days and still send it back under DSR, I think its unfair on the seller but that is the law :o

This will genuinely make me start buying from OcUK again when, or if, I start fixing up my computer. Good stuff.

That's a nice gesture but can I suggest something if you want to have the best etailer customer service in the UK?

Drop your premium rate phone number, nothing says "we don't want you phoning us" like a premium rate number that calls 10p a minute to call!

At least two of your major competitors use 0871 as well so that would certainly be seen to the world at large as a plus point.

I agree, was on hold for at least 10mins when I phoned the other day, and when you've only got a mobile it really does get pricey.

This! When I returned my faulty RV03 the couple calls I made inclusive on hold time cost like £7 on my mobile. No cost to me my rear!

It's a good move and you can see that the new owners are having a positive effect already, but, you should really think about getting rid of your premium rate phone number(s) instead. I can only hope that this is on the list of changes to come.

For anyone complaining about the premium rate numbers, try typing in "say no" into google. Hopefully I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting that, I can't see anything about it.

Wow it worked, amazing, so with that around how is an 0870 number justifiable?!

Great move on the 14 day DSR extension though! Been a few times when i've had to be careful about my delivery date as wasnt sure I would have time within 7 days to check the item. Also is it 14 business days or calendar days?

Especially good if you order something and it turns up on TWO a week later
