£1850 Budget for Gaming Rig, Monitor snd Rift Bundle.

AMD Chipset drivers are the motherboard drivers - one and the same.

Right click the desk top and you'll find the Nvidia Control Panel

Cheers @Plec

I’m just in the bios, I will do that when I come out. My bios settings haven’t changed, XMP is still enabled and the ram is set at 2933

Yes, Windows install/restore won't change the BIOS settings - it obliges them.

Also, my HDD was automatically installed this time, I didn't have to do anything?
Yes, again, the HDD had already been initialised/set up with the initial install so Windows was able to detect it this time around.

You did most of the 'leg work' with your initial install.

What driver release did you get?

Have you downloaded the just the drivers or have you installed GeForce Experience too?

Chipset from the gigabyte site
GPU from Nvidia

Those are the only drivers ive installed.

Ive also installed core temp, cpuz and HW Monitor.

Downloading Gforce exp now.
You don't need it - just wondered if you had downloaded it (as you've probably noticed i add as few intrusive apps as possible.).

And preferably get the chipset drivers directly from AMD (more up to date) - but stick with the Gigabyte ones for now.

If one of those, if your not experienced it's not a bad program, hit optimise and launch and off you go.
Far from ideal but handy

You're right orbital - probably really beneficial for new users - i'm old school and like my machines as clutter free as possible.

It's the cynic in me - don't trust apps that make decisions for you.

@orbitalwalsh @Plec

Chaps, can you explain AMD powerplan please? That link takes to me to the AMD chipset drivers, I have installed the top on, do I need to install them all?

Edit: and I'm still getting access denied when trying to change the "Power management Mode" in the NVidia control panel?

Ive set BF1 to download, its currently downloading to my SSD but I will wont to move it to the HDD. I might need to pick a brain when I do this. I tried earlier and it got a bit messy!
