The ending of the show was rubbish, but still a surprisingly quick cancellation. I would have watched Season 2, if only for the writers to try to explain what the hell was happening!

Baffling that it's been cancelled. It performed pretty well. Decent viewership. I can only guess Netflix looked at what was on the table for season two and didn't fancy it

Straw that broke the camels back for me. I've been delaying cancelling my Netflix subscription for good for quite a while now and this was the news that made me finally proceed this morning.

I don't know what Netflix's criteria is for keeping shows going to season 2/3/completion these days, but I'm out.

But if there was I'm surprised they cancelled it.

What do Netflix use to cancel shows? It does seem prolific. Not many other streaming options that work for me unfortunately.

My biggest disappointment was archive 81 started watching not knowing it was cancelled. Netflix should have a flag on the image if a show was cancelled to stop wasting people's time.

I'll add I think the reason it got cancelled is the show would be completely different in a second season due to the end. It would be like a totally different program.

Personally I thought it was meant to be a one season show.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Every episode had that WTF moment which I loved but the ending was really disappointing :/

Yeah I kind of guessed the ending. But the specifics. But I hopped it wouldn't be what I thought. Was nice to be sure though.

Imo there was more to the ending than we saw, I think it was a red herring ending, and there was probably more to the story in the next 2 seasons.

Seems a bit Marmite. I personally really enjoyed it but I don't watch that many series.
It does have an ending so it's not totally open-ended but does make you want to know more.

Not instantly but it was one of the few shows on Netflix that grew over time and helped get people into watching subbed foreign content.

I think it's still worth watching. Especially if you like mystery / sci fi type stuff. It's not the masterpiece Dark is, but decent all the same.
