The Conservative guy in my area is an absolute joke "Jacob Rees Mogg" :( so that leaves Labour and LibDem. The chances of Libs getting in is about the same as them being a majority so that leaves Labour. To be fair Dan Norris has a very big presense in the area and has sorted quite big local issues.

Would vote for Dan in a heartbeat if he was an independent but don't really want to give Labour a vote

Now that I think of it, while you lack a liberal-conservative party, the best thing for the UK would be a coalition of the tories and libdems, hopefully this would create a right wing liberal-conservative government. Anything but social democrats that also happen to be authoritarian ****s. I don't even know how you can vote for a party that is both left wing and authoritarian, those 2 traits is the worst possible combination.

Would they not have respected your decision to vote for who you like ?

I live in a staunchly Labour Tyneside seat yet I have never voted Labour and I do not hail from a priviledged background.

Of course, but I know how important voting labour was to them and I didn't have any other reason to vote otherwise. It was that or spoil my vote, at the last minute decided to vote for them.

It's very illogical, but I seriously couldn't care if people don't understand (ie the 'Dear god' comment above) I just know if I asked them who I should vote for, even with Brown doing such a bad job, I'd get the same answer from all 3 of them and it would be Labour.

Salt of the earth, working class people, fought for their Country and worked down the mines, it really is in-bedded in to me how evil Conservatives are, and no matter what the spin is, I simply cannot shake their hatred for them.

You live on in memory, and my memory of them is how serious all this was to them even if it means sweet FA to me, I feel like I did the right thing honouring what they stood for.

Labour all the way.
