Anyway, overall i'm glad i've voted via family tradition, it's given me a day of thinking about my granddad and loads of little things you forget over time, for that alone it was worth it. :)

Great, I'm glad you had your little personal moment of reflection, it makes me feel so much better about putting up with a dire government because of your arbitrary voting method.

I'm glad you are unhappy, makes me smile even more.

:D

Hmm someone swaped over labour for lib dem so votes are messed up now arnt they? Plus it has italics for labour when it should be lib dems as thats who i voted for.

The polls riged i tell ya. Tho in more fav of lib dems but still. lol

How does that work then, surely all the votes need to be in and counted.

Because all candidates have to have weeks minimum time to canvas. So it's put back to allow it to be a fair vote. You live in the Thirsk area then?

We were talking about this at work today and imagine the scenario where say the Cons, Lab and Libs all have the exact same number of seats. You could only imagine what that delayed voting area would be like for the next three weeks. All the major politicians would live there 24/7 and so would the media. lol

I understand they will have to get the money from somewhere to reduce the debt, but how harsh will they be on families?

From what i can gather they are reducing them for people who earn 30k per year? but totally removing them for those that ear 50k? i.e. the more you earn over 30k the less tax credits you get. There was some labour bloke on Newsnight the other day trying to tell Paxman that someone earning 30k a year was poor as well :s

Tis with a heavy heart I tactically voted Labour, to keep the Conservatives out.

Not to mention our Lib Dem candidate was actually running for a council position a few constituencies over and had no intention of representing us here!

You just pick who's top?

I don't support football, but doing something like that out of 'tradition' is weird, it's all predetermined leaving you with no choice in the matter.

A more logical way would be for you to look at all the options, decide what matters to you, and pick based on that, much like how people should decide their votes.

But then people cry and get in to fights over 22 men kicking a ball around for 90 minutes, which makes no sense at all. *shrug*
