It looks overdone. Like something Hyundai Coupe designers would do to a hatchback. In three to five years, all that streamlining they've done with Kuga and new Mondeo will instantly become old looking, because of millions of bottom spec Focii will just bland it out like and novum factor is gone all that will be left will be all those weird lines and bulges and korean toy looking lamps. It doesn't have that timeless shape, in fact it's awkward - like previous Astra 3 door. Mark my word gents, this Foci will age as badly as "patisson era" when they made everything with lardy pumpkin bulges - Mondeo mk2, last Escort, Puma etc...

Like the front and don't mind the interior.
But the not sure on the rear, like to see it in the flesh really, I'm sure Dunton will get some in.

Yeah its been top secret for a while, however even the Finance Vehicle Line Supervisors have been able to get to the design studio to see it a long time ago! :( Nowt for GSRs

Ah, did not realise it was top secret, someone mentioned a few months back regards the new Focus but did not take to much in.

Sorry to sound stupid - GSRs :(

i prefer the looks of the current focus , both inside and outside :(

Current focus isnt bad, the original mk2 was a damn joke, it was like they took the front end of a mk3 mondeo and designed a new arse for it, gaffer taped both together, jobs a goodun.

Really like it both in and out from the pics, if I got another year or two out of my current car I'd definately consider getting one.

Interior looks fab and the front is pretty nice, rear looks a bit bland though.

Why is there suddenly a trend to have most of the bumper painted but to leave a tiny bit at the bottom? Never understood that.

Come to the RR meet and look under my front bumper, which is painted all the way to the bottom, then you'll see.

Spotted one of these new Focus today. I thought it looked OK, the front end much better than the rear.

Hi, I've brought one, £19k for a 1.6 ecoboost Titanium X with tri-coat Candy Red, Sony Premium Multimedia Pack and Appearance Pack. Has to be factory ordered thus I'll have to wait around 12 weeks.

It looks hideous compared to the current model, looks like a battered S-MAX - which actually is quite a handsome MPV.

I quite like that, it looks a bit 'busy' inside but I do like the futuristic shiny look.

I think you're going to get flamed for this (ignore them), but enjoy it :)

£19k for an eco car? the only people that is helping is Ford! :D

Hi, £19k is around £4k less than Ford quote. Only hypocrites buy a car for the environment anyway, I'm getting the performance and the mpg, all the testers say this is the best engine. Wonderful looks and interior, even better in the flesh and has much more toys as standard compared to the boring/bland looking Mk2.5 and even the tiny and upright looking Mk1. I'm going from a Mk4 Mondeo however if you don't like it don't buy it, simple.

I'm not worried, they're only jealous ;-) Going to to be the car of the year in 2012..

Just out of interest, why are you changing your mk4 mondeo?
