On screen soft keys (of course)
8 Megapixel Camera

The retail name of the device is yet to be decided.

This has come from Modaco via The Verge

The "no SD slot" was pretty much a given :p

Thought that might be the case as well with regards to internal storage, although would have thought that maybe they might have given 32GB option as well, as they are supposedly bringing a new nexus 7 with 32GB out at the same time as well.

True but 8GB or 16GB is too small for storage. I hope Google see sense and release at least a 32GB version.

yeah i really need 32gig and 16gig does not cut it. i can handle not having a SD card as long as they give me 32!!

a poor show *may* push me down the note2 road as i have massive hands and love the note2

I very much doubt it'll be 8/16GB too without an sd-slot. I'm guessing 32gb minimum this year.

I want more info on the GNex2.

Still very much interested in this year's Nexus - My LTE S3 has arrived and it's ok but overall a bit MEH! :p

My last two Nexus phones have not had a microSD slot and I've managed comfortably with 16GB so it would be no big deal.

It's always the way...some people can manage with 16GB and some need more and unfortunately that's always going to be the case.

I for certain need more because I have a long commute on a daily basis and like to carry TV episodes / Films and music with me that get me through the rather long journey.

I don't have time to rearrange the space on my phone every other day so I can fit this or that on.

kona did your S3 turn up?

Personally for me 16GB is enough, still have had no problem with it on my S, got well over a 1000 photos/videos, some icons, wallpapers, N64/SEGA emulator files and I still have like 3.5+ GB left, could easily free up like 5+GB as I back up my photos/videos to the PC every day.

Apps wise, got over 75 apps installed with a number of games including ones like dead trigger and dead space and still have 1.47GB left.

I don't keep any music on my phone and even I did, it would only consume like 1-2GB :p :D

I think they will have the 3 options, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.

Some people are never satisfied. :p So why is it a bit MEH?

First thing is I'm already used to the S3 as my Sis an Nephew have one...so there goes the WOW factor.

And First impressions: The Grey hue is ok but not miles away from the Blue that I wasn't fond of - I'm more a monolith man. Second, TW is just meh, would love stock JB theme, performance on JB is pretty nice but quite similar to ICS I feel on the S3. And a few of my S2 apps/layout look a bit horrible too when enlarged to S3 size...also the change to 16:9 doesn't help my layout.

And I have the home button feel - feels clumsy and outdated, onscreen/HOS style rules.

All very little things which in the end makes me appreciate my S2 more...the S3 is not a giant leap forward mainly for me because of the lacking aesthetic and design features.

I have a few days to get used to it...otherwise its going back. Woot for 7-day tryout!

Thats great, but some of us have evolved ;)

I'm currently using over 20GBs for storage for Nandroid backups, music and apps. Sure I can move my Backups onto my Mac, carry less music, use less apps... but I don't want to.

I don't get why people carry so much music with them, especially 15GB+

Unless you listen to every single track every day of the week (is this even possible with 15GB+ of just MP3's? :p), it seems pointless IMO.

The Pebble Blue looks grey in certain light hence why the Titanium grey is going to look similar.

Coming from an S2 to the S3 I think there's certainly enough features that make the S3 a worthwhile upgrade to the S2 and it's definitely speedy enough.

Maybe you should've gone for a Note 2 instead. You could always change the launcher to Nova or Apex to get the stock browser look.

I'm sure there'll be some LTE based ROMS soon that you could flash.

Going back to the GNex I do hope that there are some other options available when it's eventually released even if its something from Samsung / HTC.

I tried really hard to juggle the memory when I had the HTC One S and I just couldn't hack it in the end and one of the main reasons why I sold the phone.

Minimum 32GB GNex would be fine for my needs which would be mainly TV series and films.
