2013/14 Pre-season Friendly Thread

Not much happening. Bit of an odd team selection. De Gea made a good save just before the goal but had no chance for it. Looking rather disjointed at the moment.
 
Wouldn't say it was an odd team selection - it's about giving game time to everyone and there's a couple injuries/players only just started training.

Nakamura just took a shot from a corner and Adnan cleared it off the line.

Anderson - Clev
Zaha - Adnan - Lingard

Or MUTV had it as 4-4-2 with Adnan just off RvP.

United’s team has few surprises in it, namely the inclusion of Anderson. He has something to prove to his manager, having come back for pre-season looking as though he has spent most of the summer eating

Unsurprisingly it was Evra.
It was also Evra at fault for their second best effort a couple of minutes ago when De Gea saved with his feet.

This is why I want rid of Evra. Just not good enough. Captain? Don't make me laugh.

Great run from Zaha, beats his man, drills it across, half cleared, Lingard taps in after continuing his run into the box.

Lingard seems pretty handy!

I've turned it on at work, will watch some of the second half in my lunch break, managed to catch the replay of that goal!

Great deep corner from Yokohama, Evans left his man and allowed Cleverley (who has been poor today) to be out-jumped 2 men to 1. Great corner, awful defending.
