2019 NFL Season Thread

Won 4 out of my 5 week 2 fantasy match ups to go 2-0 in all those leagues.

5th team I'm 59 points down with Julio Jones DJ to play for Falcons and Eagles. I have a sniff of a chance but I think it will end up as a loss :(

Another great night of games though, the end of Bears and Broncos was amazing.

I've been impressed with Jakey Biscuit in his first couple of games. He's obviously no Luck but he's a good passer, rarely does anything stupid and seems to deliver in clutch situations. The D is a worry and seems pretty inconsistent compared to last year but it may level out as the season goes on. Can still see the team making the playoffs playing as they are.

Big Ben out for the season.

My old Bengals loyalty made me quirk a slightly guilty smile at this. Horrible that a player misses a season but good to see Stealers not winning. That division must be a gimme to the Ravens now especially if Lamar keeps going at this pace.

Surely they have to start looking to the future soon with the QB position, it will break my heart but Drew can't go on forever?

Payton keeps talking up Taysum Hill so will be interesting if he gets a go, if not they'll be after a QB in this year's draft.

Actually probably Steelers and Saints will need to seriously consider looking now.

Wonder if there's any odds on either Steelers or Saints (more likely Steelers) have a sneaky nibble on Rosen. Steelers actually have a line so could see Rosen playing with an actual team.

Considering the Phins have decided to purposefully tank and destroy themselves a 2nd-4th round pick for Rosen who they clearly have no interest in could tempt them.

think it will depend on the op/rehab and how happy he is with that, but with from what i saw on the way the injury happened he might well be better ending it.

lets face it the way their playing the qb doesn't matter, so no real pressure on rudolph :D

Could be an interesting draft now with the amount of teams needing a new QB.

only really seen 3 qb's that might be 1st round next year, and not sure the dolphins should get one of them with all the issues they have, specially as they got rid of tunsil as well.

I can only imagine if they are intending to go for a QB that they going to go big in FA on 1 or 2 linemen as their line is historically bad.

They now have 5 first round picks in the next 2 years plus a load of second and third round picks as well.

All well and good but they are building on top of nothing so they will have to go hard on FA. Really don't understand trading away Tunsil and Fitz who they could have built around. Better off getting what they could for Stills/Drake/Parker etc who aren't good enough and going from there but meh. We'll see.

Wasn't impressed by the Browns again despite the win.

Not sure I agree. He's much more than a moron. He's a genuinely bad person. He's left a wake of unpaid bills, outright cheating some people, beat women, raped some and been a locker room cancer everywhere he's been.

Personally I don't think they can go too far with him, and I hope they do.

If this doctor had any dignity he would have bashed him out/refused to treat him if someone was acting in such a manner. About the money? Sue his ass.

Releasing a story about someone farting in your face? Have a bit of dignity and get off the bandwagon man.

can you believe foles' luck ? :D

I really think Minshew looks the real deal. Proof will be in the pudding over the next 6/7 games but his range of throws, his movement, his pocket presence... It all looks really impressive like someone much more experienced than his years.

It's not although he is just chucking check downs and screens like a bum bumping his stats either. His TD throw outside the lines over the CB's head was perfect touch.

Still plenty of time for it to go wrong but if I had to have a bet I would put money on him staying as starter. At least I hope he does, guy seems awesome.

Sounds a bit like you're blaming the victim here. Could the doctor have handled it better? Sure. Does that mean he's wrong? Not a chance.

And FTR he is suing AB.

Not blaming the victim, AB is a huge scum bag well all know that, but have some dignity and stand up for yourself. Anyone who accepts someone doing that to them firstly, has some issues in self respect and secondly, to publish that to the world? To tell the world you let someone walk all over you in such a manner? I don't know about everyone else but I have more self respect than that.

Ok, I see what you're saying now. And I do agree with you on that but some people just can't or won't stand up for themselves.

Yeah fair play, not sure why it's actually annoyed me so much. I just hate AB and seeing this happen to someone has really narked me.

Been reported today he got some goons to threaten a woman over some reporting as well, it seems to be going south quickly for him now.

One of my fantasy leagues I haven't got the best backs, trying to trade one in and there's a person in the league, stone cold last with a garbage Team but he drafted 6, yes 6, starting RB's. Kamara, Jacobs, Singletary, Eckler, Mack and Conner and he won't trade a single one despite him desperately needing every other position apart from QB.

What a **** :p

So AB is back on the market... who's next?

How far are we from a Kaepernick situation where teams just don't want the drama involved and no-one will sign him?

I can't imagine who will sign him right now, bit one team certainly will take the chance.

Lol. Sounds like me in Fantasy this year, where I drafted lots of RBs. In the 3 leagues we play in I've started 1-5 this season.

I'm 9 and 1 so brilliant start but I have some doubts this week.
