Not going well for them is it...

Nobody believes experts why would anyone believe this guy:

"The Bank of England's chief economist has contradicted the government by saying there is an "undoubtedly a UK-specific component" to the market reaction of the past six days."

What does he know? A lot less than the people who say this is needed and they saw it coming.

I'll definitely be able to empathise once all the usual complainers ensure that before they publicly cry to the daily mail, they reduce their non essential outgoings such as Disney +, Amazon, Spotify, Netflix and NowTV. Then they'll know exactly if they can afford to get little Timmy fed on beans this week or not.

Will that stop the government crashing the economy, the BoE having to bail them out for 65 billion, and people paying 6% mortgages?

Right so all this excitement is very nice and provides lost of clicks, however apart from inflation screwing over the average Joe (no change there) has anything collapsed has anything crashed ?

Nothing, nada, zilch, unemployment is effectively zero, the problem for employers is getting staff, not getting rid of them.

Yeah the energy crisis blah blah, but the nanny state is bailing everyone out. Tout ca change.

Do you have a pension? Thank the BoE that it still exists if you do.

Do you have a mortgage or pension?

It's funny isn't it. We had months of Tory MP's appearing on breakfast TV, repeatedly defending Boris and all of the stupid things that were happening in government. Making themselves look utterly stupid.

Now we're right back there again. Ministers appearing on TV, defending the indefensible, treating the public like fools.

What joy. It's quite literally painful to watch.

The £ crashed quite a bit.

Not everything happens at once or immediately.
