Incompetent lying populist chancers. Kippers in disguise. Give me the "old" Tory party back please so there is a bit of choice for the sane.

edit: Oh and "delivery"

OK and look at Corbyn's reaction and that of his buddies to the war in Ukraine so far then - he's a member of the stop the war coalition... he's urged the West to stop arming Ukraine. Putin might have surrounded Kyiv if not for additional help with NLAWs etc.. from the UK.

As for covid - Wales had a Labour government, we've seen how they reacted to it. Is their NHS in any better shape right now - nope, it's performing far worse.

It's well and good to blame the government for the energy prices, Covid etc.. but those things would have happened regardless of who is in charge and with a good chance they'd have been handled far worse.
You can **** right off. I'm not sitting here exchanging essays with you. ;)

Edit to add, not intended in an aggressive way, just in case the smilies don't make that clear. :)

I thought it had now been decided that was a racist term and therefore rightly banned from Forums like this ?

I mean, internet forums are the only place guys like chroniclard can say things like that. He probably walks down the street with his eyes pointed at the pavement incase he accidentally makes eye contact with someone

But their objective reaction to both of those things was good, our vaccine program was far ahead of the curve in it's roll out and acquisition - that's a huge deal. The governments response to Ukraine has been very positive, no one basically has a bad word to say about how Boris reacted to the Ukraine war. Basically you're left with the fact they had some inappropriate gatherings at Downing Street during lockdown as your criticism.

Which we then wasted our head start and let everybody else overtake us so in reality we gained nothing.

People still defending the Tories with Corbyn would have been worse memes. Do you have no shame.

He likely would have been re: the two issues brought up by Dirk.

If only there was a Labour Government somewhere in the UK so we could take a look at how they performed during Covid or the state of the NHS under their Labour administration...

If only Corbyn had made some comments on the war in Ukraine, perhaps confirming what was already apparent given his previous stances and the orgs he supports.

The vaccine program according to a study saved 500,000 lives and was one of the fastest in the world, "we gained nothing".

Yup, and a bunch of the same posters were of course kicking off at the time because the UK didn't join the slow, run by inefficient bureaucrats, EU scheme... In fact we had additional vaccines backed too just in case, UK government took multiple bets with the vaccines and was far quicker and proactive about it.

Hypothetical nonsense. No way of knowing either way.

Nah, the point is that's not hypothetical, we know his views and he's been very clear about his views. At best he'd have been an obstruction on Ukraine, begrugingly dragging his heels re: support. Quite plausibly he'd have been another Scholz type... full of platitudes and empty promises but also trying to negotiate still with Putin.

Perhaps if Labour, not liking the comparisons had not elected Corbyn as their leader and their Candidate for PM. That bit is not hypothetical. And as Dowie has alluded, there was a Labour administration in Wales dealing with the covid pandemic and responsible for the health service locally.

Israel was well ahead of the UK and even the UAE went ahead of the UK.
BoZo's reaction to Ukraine has more to do with deflection from his sordid news in the UK. Anytime there was more bad news, lo and behold BoZo was off to Ukraine for a visit.

These are side show issues, brought up to divert the conversation.

I mean, he (Roar) literally parotts the "fastest vaccine roll out eva" line in order to ignore the actual topic. It's straight from the Tory manual.

So basically you're comparing the UK unfavorably with the country that had the fastest vaccination program in the world in part due to doing a deal with Pfizer and in part getting lucky that that particular vaccine worked well...

As for your explanation of Bozo's reaction to Ukraine simply being a deflection from "sordid news in the UK", that's incredibly credulous of you if you genuinely believe that, the fact is the UK was supporting Ukraine for years before the full-scale invasion and Boris could just as easily occupy front-page headlines by pushing a German or French strategy and making a big show of negotiating with/having regular phone calls with Putin.
