Ahh so the price was close to my prediction of 999.

Its oddly placed, its clearly poorer value vs the 3080, but a big enough price gap from the 3090 to make people go for it when they cant get a 3080, clever from nvidia, but I wont support them on this move, these chips in my opinion should be going in 3080s to fill backorders.

Managed to grab a 3060 ti on the drop earlier, waited a good 5 mins before the 'Add to Basket' option showed up, had to log in to the vendor's site and had to manually enter card details. A number of times the next page seemed to take an age to load but have the confirmation mail now.

Would really prefer a 6700 XT, but at £380 delivered in todays climate it was a no brainer, especially upgrading from an RX 590!

The 590 is a Sapphire Nitro +, I was surprised to see they are going for around £350... Has had really light use too, so hoping for a nice net cost of £30 upgrade! I don't normally get that sort of tech buying Karma!

In my opinion, if they keep dropping FE 3080 and FE 3060 Ti at MSRP, just go with these cards.

3080 Ti makes no sense at the current price.
